Voices of Us brings together creators to explore identity in a complex digital world shaped by misinformation, echo chambers, and online harms.
Anchored in diversity, compassion, and cohesion, it creates space for honest conversations and real stories that shape how we understand ourselves in Singapore and across the region.
In our pilot edition, with the help of historians, heritage practitioners, creatives, researchers, and community voices, we unpacked the difference between history and heritage, heard from those working closely with communities, and questioned how stories are told and whose voices are heard.
One thing was clear: there isn’t a single story of Singapore, and how we choose to tell these stories matters.
Thank you to our speakers Dr John Kwok, Amanda Cheong and Stanley Cheah from
@hiddenheritage.sg ,
@benkheng , Dr Mathew Mathews, and Shaza Ishak for shaping the conversations. We are also grateful to our co-facilitators
