CPT turns… two!! 🎂
Two years ago our beloved collective was born. Our perfect little baby <3 although sometimes more like an enfant terrible…
Of course the terrible two’s will be celebrated and where better than at @levenslang.amsterdam !? Come crash our birthday party and bring your friends! For this delicious edition we’ve delved into our archive and selected some of our personal favourite DJs: @jerrau__ (from our 2nd edition), @miacecille (our take-over at de Fik), @ngoni_ (4th edition) and of course resident DJ @sunny.saimuns .
We have poured blood, sweat and tears into CPT and we have gained friendships, memories and a lot of knowledge.
But, as they say: it takes a village to raise a child. Since its birth our collective has seen many godmothers and godfathers, aunties and uncles to help raise it. For this we want to thank you. We couldn’t have done it without you ❤️
Be sure to tell everybody you know: this is going to be a fucking blast. You can find the ticket link in bio!

Representing Narratives: Stories of Identity | 26 September 19:00
In this program, we present three short films that
explore the identities within the BIPOC community.
Identity isn’t just about your name or where you come from—it’s about the personal journey that shapes who you become. This relates to people who have a bicultural background, where belonging and self understanding are constantly challenged. The way you relate to others, to a country, and how life’s path unfolds all influence your evolving story.
After the films, a panel discussion will dive deeper into these complex identities, addressing the challenges and rewards of navigating multiple cultural backgrounds, and exploring the many ways identity can be understood.
This program is for everyone, but especially for the
BIPOC community. Come with your boyfriend/girlfriend/partner/family/chosen family and let your evening be inspiring!
Representing Narratives: Stories of Identity is curated by Devaniyo Rigters for his graduation project.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Or is it CPT collective entering Club Raum on Sun Ra’s spaceship?
On Sept 28th We are astronomically thrilled to be hosting the Boutique downstairs.
This is not you’re average evening out clubbing.
We are cooking up something special that will tickle all your senses. Travel through spacetime with us, visiting and understanding the roots of the music we love today.
With a live soundscape by Bexley Mellish, immersive visuals by Scheve Gezichten, narrated by Indigo Burnett.
We will take you to the beginnings of Afrofuturism. What’s the importance of Afrofuturism and what influences does it have in the electronic music we hear today? (Spoiler: A lot!)
You will leave the experience energized and educated, just as Faustin and Ehua will take you to another astral plane in the Studio.
Will you join us on this space mission?
Find ticket links in our bio.
Next to our dj’s we provide you with a live VJ set by Scheve Gezichten: Cultural Alienation is a VJ set made by Scheve Gezichten to compare the similarities between the alienation of deep see life and the alienation of cultural dances. Both deeply imbedded with nature, yet distanced from the “norm” through the view of western commons.
Join us on the 3th may to see Scheve Gezichten work his magic ✨

DEVA⚡
Our very own resident DJ is bringing some opening cheekiness to the OT301. Don’t be fooled by his cool and calm collectedness, because DEVA will have you begging for mercy on the dancefloor. While his heart beats for electro (don’t we all feel that way?) he has no trouble fitting in some different styles for the darlings on the dancefloor. You don’t want to miss this.

“I am a Black man… I build… I don’t tear down other Black MEN and WOMEN!… I have felt the pain of being torn down and I have decided I will be deliberate about building others! 🤟🏾All too often, we find it easier to criticize each other instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let’s do something positive!! ✊🏾💙 Upload one picture of yourself… only you. Then tag as many brothers and sisters to do the same. Let’s build each other up, instead of tearing ourselves down. If I tagged you, don’t disappoint me! We can all make a difference #blcklivesmatter #BLM tagged by @t.no
