Directed by @devan_davies . “Our new music video “Aurora” was a collaborative effort between the band, Devan (the director), prop designer ESTR and the FX producer Ali. Together we conspired to elucidate the thematic intention of the song through tropes found in science fiction movies, art and literature. Fittingly, as the title track of the album, it ties in ideas that are evoked in the album artwork through a video format. CUNEIFORM "DARK NEW REWARD" | LP OUT NOW I'm so excited to finally share this record that I had the opportunity to be part of creating. I feel so passionate about this record, much more than anything I've been a part of until now. It should be blasting out of your car stereo, the soundtrack to your commute, playing so loudly in the bar that you can hardly talk over it. I want people to find each other because of this. From the start, I've said I want this to be the CD that's in beater car stereos around the world, playing while teen Goths and Metalheads sit in their seats, eating their lunches, parked near their boring day job at a Home Depot or Lowes (or comparable). It's such a pleasure to have joined a band I started as a fan of, so I always seek to do what's right for the songs. Thank you Sam, Adam, Corey, and Kat. Thank you to all involved in the making of this record. I truly hope it travels far and reaches many, and takes us with it.
