This modern addition to a historic late 1880s house hovers on piers above a sloped site. Conceived as a floating structure above a concrete plinth, the house embraces the property’s natural landscape. Expansive glass creates a treehouse feel, while the exterior palette - architectural concrete, steel, mahogany slats, and copper flashing - anchors the new structure with rich material contrast.

Our latest project just south of Boston is well underway with @ikandaarchitects This home, originally built in the 1870s, is getting a major facelift and a brand new garage to match. We’re very excited to see this one take shape!
