Ermira Goro’s Sirens will have back-to-back performances in Croatia. Sirens invites the audience on a sensual and mysterious journey into the world of desire and its social expression. 🌿 This weekend in Athens! We are happy to remind you of the opening of EXHIBITION #1 within the MATCH project, taking place at Duncan Dance Centre, Athens, on 25–26 April 2026. The exhibition presents the works developed during the residencies of Garance Maurer, Annalisa Zegna, and Vitoria Kotsalou, who between October 2025 and April 2026 explored climate change through interconnected artistic and ecological perspectives. From fire and reforestation, to water systems and clay, to the garden as a living shared ecosystem, their practices transform the exhibition space into a site of reflection, encounter, and environmental imagination. 🌿 EXHIBITION #1 | ATHENS 🌿 Within the framework of the MATCH project, a series of five local exhibitions unfolds between April and November 2026, following the post-production phase of the artistic residencies. These exhibitions share the works developed by participating artists across the Mediterranean, opening spaces for reflection, exchange, and collective encounter. We are happy to announce the first exhibition in Athens, taking place at the Duncan Dance Centre from 24–26 April 2026. Three artists — Garance Maurer, Annalisa Zegna, and Vitoria Kotsalou — have developed their residencies between October 2025 and April 2026, exploring climate change through different but interconnected perspectives. From fire and reforestation, to water systems and clay, to the garden as a living, shared ecosystem, their practices have transformed the residency space into a site of ecological and artistic experimentation. Paul Klee: From Bach to Bauhaus “Only with music did I always have a good relationship,” said Paul Klee, arguably the most musical of painters. A skilled violinist, he performed in chamber groups and orchestras, translating musical rhythm, notation, and polyphony into visual art, deeply inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. His influence also moved in the opposite direction: composers like Karlheinz Stockhausen and Pierre Boulez drew from his Bauhaus teachings, even calling his notes one of the best composition manuals. The touring exhibition “Mikis Theodorakis: Memory in the Digital Age” continues its journey across Greece. After its warm opening at the Center of Mediterranean Architecture, the exhibition arrives for its second stop at the Museum of the Olive and Greek Olive Oil, of the Piraeus Cultural Foundation. Initiated by the Ministry of Culture of Greece in collaboration with the Friends of Music Association and the Lilian Voudouri Music Library, which has safeguarded the archive of Mikis Theodorakis since 1997, the exhibition celebrates 100 years since the birth of the great composer. For the first time, all the digital tools developed to make his work accessible to everyone are presented together. Through three immersive pavilions, visitors can explore Theodorakis’ life and artistic legacy using interactive technologies. Among Echoes explores a rare and intimate sound world where the historic clavichord, the human voice, and electronics meet. Traveling from the Netherlands, the duo presents a sensory dialogue between early Baroque and contemporary classical music, alongside their own experimental works. The program features Greek premieres by Greek composers and newly commissioned pieces, as well as early Baroque works that highlight the clavichord’s soft, whisper-like tone. Once a favorite instrument for private study and chamber music, and famously loved for its expressive subtlety, the clavichord finds new relevance today as a poetic partner to the human voice. Κυριακές στον κήπο του Κέντρου Μελέτης Χορού Ντάνκαν Η πρώτη «Κυριακή στον κήπο» (1/2) έφερε κοντά παιδιά και ενήλικες από τον Δήμο Βύρωνα και την καλλιτεχνική κοινότητα σε μια μέρα γεμάτη εξερεύνηση, δημιουργία και μοίρασμα. Με οδηγό τις αισθήσεις, το σώμα και τη φαντασία τους, τα παιδιά γνώρισαν τη ζωή του κήπου, δημιούργησαν εικαστικές κατασκευές, και έγιναν μέρος ενός αυθόρμητου χορού που γέμισε τον χώρο κέφι και ζωντάνια. Μια μέρα συλλογικότητας, φροντίδας και σκέψης γύρω από τη σχέση μας με το περιβάλλον.
