Our design approach is based on the Scandinavian principle of “lagom” - achieving a harmonious balance between form and function.
.
In our Farmstead House project, natural materials took center stage, featuring an exposed green oak structural frame, timber construction methods, and external cladding. The design also prioritised the seamless integration of natural light, with thoughtfully incorporated vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glazing enhancing the sense of openness throughout the spaces.

Together, these elements strengthen the connection between interior and exterior, resulting in a cohesive and tranquil living environment.

A lovely opportunity to reflect on the past but also take a moment and learn from others as to how to push on next.
Such a good group and community. It’s not just the events they organise but the work in the background by Anna May and her peers. Some might not know but the RIBA recently published their Careers, Kids and Caring Responsibilities toolkit. The toolkit aims to prompt discussions between both employers and employees to navigating life changing events, parenting and caring and how wellbeing can be reviewed in practice.
Huge achievement and something we should all review and reflect on. Look forward to seeing what’s next from you guys!

The wait is over! Last month we celebrated @burgerism ‘s first city centre spot opening at One Piccadilly Gardens.
.
What an absolute pleasure to collaborate with such a strong brand, where the architecture was challenged to meet high design standards; compliment one of the best Burgers in the city.
.
Stainless steel, ceramics and a strong colour palette sought to create a unique space. Whilst, meticulous, well thought through detailing creates a long lasting, high tech interior.

Off to Planning Committee tomorrow with our pioneering 3D printed house. The scheme also boasts circa 60% uplift in BNG on the site, celebrating the ability new rural architecture can have on our countryside.
