For this special occasion we invited SHXCXCHCXSH ( @hsxchcxcxhs ) back to Berlin more than one year after their last appearance in town. Deestricted expands its journey. After a long time without moving beyond our usual spaces, we finally return on the road. Tonight we return to Italy to our beloved and intimate Meet Compact Club, with Blue Hour as special guest, alongside vp allowed and Pablo. Balancing rave memory and contemporary minimalism, Blue Hour crafts clear and hypnotic soundscapes. His techno is an elegant form of trance, suspended between formal rigor and submerged emotion.

A steady groove, elements arranged with surgical precision, and an inner tension that builds over time – like water slowly coming to a boil. That’s where Blue Hour sits: a British producer active for over a decade, crafting a sound that is at once physical, atmospheric, and spiritual. There’s always a detail – a lingering reverb, a grainy snare, a distant treated voice – adding warmth and humanity to otherwise geometric structures. Deestricted returns to Italy this Friday landing at Meet Compact Club. A return to the body, an invitation to sink into a primordial kind of dance, guided by a groove ritualist like @renewise lets the sound breathe, like the dub masters used to. No special effects, just the perfect interplay of rhythm, texture, and dynamics. Born in ’96 with UK roots, Rene works with just a few essential elements, kick, rounded percussion, bare-bones atmospheres shaped with rare rhythmic sensitivity. His sets speak for themselves, resonating in some of the most respected spaces in the world. Alongside him, Elios and Steamrøller See you on the floor.

Windfuhr - July 18 @ Deestricted, RSO Berlin Windfuhr is a Berlin based DJ and @eerstecommunie resident. Guided by the rhythm of drums, his musical journey is defined by hypnotic introspections and consistent energy flow. It is precisely the union of these elements which allows the mind to wander and the body to keep moving. A strictly warm and organic sound, dominated by low frequencies and percussive elements is Windfuhr’s signature touch. Music as a tool - to explore himself and to build a dialogue with the audience. His Guadeloupean heritage enables him to capture and adapt the musical tradition of `Gwo Ka‘ - which in Creole means “big drum”- into each one of his mixes. Gwo Ka is the combination of sound and movement through the rhythms played on the drums and the dances of the audience. In its traditional form, drummers and dancers merge into an infinite interaction of rhythms and gestures giving life to a communal performance. Inspired by his roots, Windfuhr translates this tradition into contemporary soundscapes with the aim to emphasize the connection between dance, spirit and music. The philosophy of communication through sound lies at the roots of his passion: by reading and understanding the energy of the dancers, he becomes their shadow and allows the creation of a story where everyone is the author. To connect with people but also to disconnect from reality sums up his commitment to this form of art.
