DIRTY CUT 2025 - ANASUYA SENGUPTA 2/17 Anasuya Sengupta’s 🏆 (@anasuya_sengupta ) turn in The Shameless lit up Cannes with a slow-burn ferocity—earning her the first Best Actress win in Un Certain Regard (a first for India). But Sengupta wasn’t minted for stardom from birth. She cut her teeth building sets bigger than most egos in the room, ducking in and out of indie cinema, hustling hard and building her star more as a powerhouse than a damsel. On set, she’s all grit, no gloss—a tough girl with a devil-may-care edge who will show up and throw down like it’s gospel.
