Beyond stoked to be featured in Blush: Contemporary Makeup Artists as one of the 75 most innovative makeup artists in the world. Thank you, @phaidonpress I’m honestly so thrilled to be included alongside some of the most celebrated artists of our time, artists I’ve looked up to for years. This feels like a really big milestone in my journey. Sometimes you’re so busy building, creating, and showing up every day that you don’t pause to realise how far you’ve come. And then moments like this arrive as the sweetest reminder. Grateful, humbled, and so inspired to keep going šŸ¤āœØ #blush

Everyone marvels at that final look, but there’s so much more behind the scenes. With @deepikapadukone , it’s always been deeper than just makeup. It’s about trust, freedom, and creativity. She’s fearless in her experimentation, and that sparks endless creative avenues. People often miss the quiet decisions that shape a look, the rush, the pressure, the doubts, then the moments of clarity. Sometimes everything aligns perfectly in an instant; other times, it’s a race against the clock, adjusting and refining through the chaos. This carousel offers a glimpse into my international red carpet journey, my favorite looks and the behind-the-scenes moments that crafted them. Because true beauty isn’t just what meets the eye, it’s the feeling and effort that breathe life into it. #makeupartist #celebritymakeupartist #mua #deepikapadukone #redcarpet #cannes

Why I use the same makeup products every single day šŸ¤ As a makeup artist, I have access to so many amazing products. But for my own face, I always come back to the same few. I have sensitive skin, and I’ve realised if something works, I stick to it. Constantly switching products really messes with my skin barrier, and it takes forever to recover. With so many brands sending makeup now, I’ve also become super mindful about ingredients. If I’m using something daily, it has to be safe, clean and non toxic. I’m not willing to risk long term hormone disruption just for a ā€œnew launch.ā€ I learnt that the hard way after using traditional cosmetics from a very young age. So now it’s simple, a few trusted products, clean formulas, on repeat āœØšŸ¤ Products used: -ISDIN sunscreen - @merit flush balm cream blush - @mokaebeauty arc angel brow gel and lunar lift tubing mascara

The hair ritual I keep coming back to šŸ¤ Growing up, my mother oiled my hair every alternate day and combed it twice a day so diligently. It was just part of my routine. After leaving home, I stopped doing it completely. But over the last year, I’ve slowly come back to it again, at least twice a week. And honestly it feels so grounding. I’ve been using our family’s long kept Ayurvedic oil with 22 herbs. It cools the scalp, helps with dandruff, and even promotes deep sleep. But I truly believe it wasn’t just the oil. It was the massage, the brushing, the consistency and her care. Now in my 40s, I’m returning to this ritual for healthier hair and a healthier scalp ✨ Do you have a hair ritual you swear by? šŸ¤

Brown girls with wavy hair… this one is for you šŸ¤ŽāœØ If you’ve been trying to fight your natural texture, consider this your sign to stop. I’ve been getting so many compliments on my soft, undone waves lately, and this is the one product I keep coming back to: Aveda Curl Cream. I’ve used it for over a year now, and it has become an absolute staple in my routine. I apply it when my hair is about 50% damp and work a small amount through my lengths, scrunch upwards, and let my hair air dry. What I love most is how it enhances my natural waves without feeling heavy or sticky. It defines, adds volume, smooths frizz, and creates that effortless, lived-in texture. And honestly, I’ve fully embraced the fact that I’m not a blowout girl. Natural waves all the way 😌

Every woman struggling with acne needs to hear this šŸ¤ Acne is rarely just a surface/level problem. Most of the time, the trigger is much deeper. We’ve been conditioned to believe that every breakout needs another cream, serum or spot treatment but honestly, that’s usually just a band-aid. For me, real change happened when I started looking at what was happening inside my body, especially my gut. Because your gut health, inflammation, blood sugar, hormones and microbiome can all show up on your face. This is why I love the functional medicine approach. It doesn’t just calm the breakout, it helps you understand why it’s happening in the first place. If this feels like your story, it’s your sign to get curious.

Had the sweetest 1:1 session with @rachnabahadur , founder of Flout Beauty ✨ One of my favourite parts of what I do is getting to meet people from all walks of life and learning something new from each one. Teaching makeup 1:1 is especially rewarding because it’s so personal. I get to understand your face, your routine, your lifestyle and guide you step-by-step in a way that actually feels doable. And watching someone feel more confident through beauty truly never gets old šŸ¤ Want a routine that feels effortless and truly you? Comment ā€œ1:1ā€ and I’ll share the details🌟

Most mascaras dry down… Lunar Lift builds šŸŖ„ Most mascaras are a one and done situation. Once they set, reapplying usually means clumps, flakes, and crunchy lashes. But Lunar Lift is different. One coat in the morning gives you that clean, lifted everyday lash. And the best part? You can keep layering through the day. More volume, more lift, more drama… without starting from scratch. Because make up should give you room to play. Day to night lashes, the easy way šŸŒ™āœØ

Oil pulling fixed something unexpected I started oil pulling about 7 years ago for the usual reasons: better oral hygiene, healthier gums, fresher breath, and that overall clean feeling in the mouth. But what I didn’t expect was that my persistent dry cough, something I’ve had since childhood slowly just went away. And this is exactly what I tell people about wellness. Don’t just do things because they’re trending. Do them with awareness. Track how your body responds. Wellness is less about rules and more about becoming intuitive with yourself šŸ¤āœØ Have you ever tried oil pulling?
