Art-a-Whirl weekend is here! I spent a lot of time making these for AAW and I'm amped about how they turned out! Drew up some shapes, then my best pal @stevenkarlkrause cut them out for me. I hand carved the edges (only cut myself once!), painted their personalities, and glued wool felt on the backs. I like them so much I might even keep one... Which I never do. Are you going to Art-a-Whirl this weekend?
It starts on Friday night! Over 1600 artists participate in over 100 locations in NE Mpls. Hopefully, you can bike or hop a trolley to the Northrup King to visit us.
Secretly, creating tiny art like this is really where it's at for me creatively. The big ones are cool and all, but these little ones give me the greatest sparks of joy. There will be a lot of new creations like this at our shop this weekend.♡

The Schmidt Art Crawl starts Friday! We have been in making mode for months, and it shows. Personally, I think the highlight is @__woolves__ new flags. Another special treat, we have @jeremymessersmith 's new album available. Hope you can swing through!

The Schmidt Art Crawl is located in the old Schmidt Brewhouse, 900 7th St West, St. Paul. Over 80 artists are participating. Find my paintings, @__woolves__ woolves pillows, & Evarett's bracelets, in the 1st floor gallery alongside gorgeous art by @erikpearsonart and @matymableart .
When your print station is in your bedroom and you get to have the sweetest 3-legged assistant.... *Sadly, she was fired soon after sneezing on a print.
