I pitched this design last summer for a different project and the merch team loved it so much they made me finish it for our first Omega Mart Vegas specific design. It’s hard to sum up the Omega Mart experience in one image but this one gets pretty close. Pretty proud of the finished piece. Look for the merch coming soon!

Surreal Post – This past Monday, I was a guest on the Conan O’Brien Podcast – Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan. Since high school, I have been a fan of Conan’s, and I always imagined eventually running into him and quickly telling him that I used to study his work and how it had absolutely informed my comedy. Monday was the chance of a lifetime. I got to tell him the story directly. On top of that got to talk to him about the work I do, and he LAUGHED!! It couldn’t have gone any better. Conan was amazing. He immediately picked up on my thinking and ran alongside it as only Conan can do. On top of that, the people in Conan’s orbit are absolutely fantastic. Cage-Free Toes is one of the latest products we released at Omega Mart. These slides are one of my favorite products I have ever made. They look exactly how I envisioned them, and they're incredibly comfortable. I have been working on these for nearly a year and a half, and I included a few process shots from along the way. When it comes to any product, so many people are involved in bringing it into reality, and I'm endlessly thankful to each of them. It’s been two weeks since we said goodbye to Hank and we’ve learned how grief lingers when death comes much too young. Hank was a quirky little guy who required time to feel comfortable in new places with new people. Once he relaxed, it was easy to fall in love. He was a lover, cuddler and the best weighted blanket you could ask for. At 6 years old, Hank was diagnosed with Lymphoma. After weighing our options, we opted to enroll him in ORBIT - a Mayo Clinic + UMN clinical trial testing a new combination treatment for NHL. He was the first dog to meet all requirements and became their first patient. With the help of the U, we were given an amazing extra year with Hank. We saw him blossom from an anxious pup to a playful one that looked forward to visiting Cancer Club (what we called his drop off visits) and his care team. The CIC and ONC crew saw a side of Hank previously reserved for a select few and treated him as their own, including some new nicknames and plenty of treats (always). We are so grateful to the love and care they showed him and the thoughtful messages & support we’ve received in the wake of his passing. We miss him something fierce. Even though Hank was dealt a crap hand, we are hopeful his circumstances will help advance cancer research for pups and humans alike. Hank, Hankerton, Hankelstiltskin Jones ❤️ 1.26.18 - 5.15.25 💔

17 years ago two people who knew each other just over a year got married. In hindsight, perhaps a little insane? We always joke that we must’ve known something despite our naivety (and age) or were incredibly lucky. Likely, a bit of both. While we have grown as a couple over these years, the foundation of our relationship has remained constant: communication, gratitude, humor, kindness, love and ADVENTURES! I haven't posted much of my work over the last year because I haven't really felt up to it. I'm starting to feel better and I design chocolate bars now. Not exclusively but maybe. You can eat my art at @omegamartusa

Finding the words to express my feelings about my dad's passing has been, to say the least, challenging. On December 18th, my father, Don Jones (66), passed away after a 10+ year battle with a rare nonsmokers lung cancer. Those are the facts. The other stuff is much harder to put into words. For 40 years, he has been a rock in my life. Sadly, that rock was taken from me, no matter how hard I tried to keep it here. My father was a good person. He got further in his life and career than anyone might have expected. He was my role model growing up. A man quick to dismiss his own abilities and always found a way to refocus that light onto the people surrounding him. It's why so many people consider him a father figure in their own lives. I'm gonna miss his phone calls. I'm gonna miss his stories. I'm gonna miss telling him what I'm working on and immediately being met with the question, "Have they asked about bringing me in yet?" I'm gonna miss getting super old together and laughing about how shit our bodies are getting. I'm gonna miss the time we didn't get to have together. I miss him, and I'm endlessly happy I got to call him dad. [link to my father's obituary in my bio]
