I’m very excited to announce an event I’m hosting: Patchwork Saturday 4/11 1-5pm at The Expo, 4615 Exposition Blvd. It’s a clothing swap + much more...really a celebration of sustainable style with photos, tacos and margs during @laclimateweek (April 8-15). A couple months ago I heard some very loud machinery outside the studio and went out to see what was going on. My heart skipped a beat when I saw a fire truck—one of the big boys with the separate cab + trailer—fully extended over our lot to the roof of @toybox.rentals 😳 Turns out they were just practicing. This zone belongs to Fire Station 94, “C” Platoon and they drive around running drills on buildings that might be tricky in a real situation. Which is pretty tight. Shout out @losangelesfiredepartment I gave them a quick tour of the studio which turned into an impromptu portrait session. These guys are awesome. Thank you for looking out for our neighborhood 🚒 And on that note...fire safety is no joke and it’s a core value at both @the.expo.la and @photo_bohemia . We’re licensed flame retardant applicators and now provide treatment services for production, events, and interior design pros. Stay safe out there 🔥

“Everybody loves Cristian. You’re so lucky to have him.” Everybody says that and I couldn’t agree more. When we first met at a fateful desert soirée hosted by @doneandun , I had no idea we’d end up working and traveling this closely together. Cristian’s been in the trenches with me ever since, building @photo_bohemia and @the.expo.la from the ground up, brick by brick, frame by frame...and made it so fun. There’s nobody else I’ve spent more 2am rides with, or had more laughs with, in the last year.
