The Faculty of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University presents INDA PARADE 2026, the annual event showcasing and celebrating the work developed across all four years of INDA. Under the theme “COMMON STRUCTURE” this edition brings together the ideas, methods, and visions that shape the entire academic journey, revealing how diverse approaches can converge into a shared framework of research, experimentation, and design. DEX (Design Experimentation Workshop) is an annual workshop program initiated by the INDA Program, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. Curated by Davide Contran @davidecontran , a faculty member of INDA and founder of @distortionstudio.eu , the 2025 edition explores the theme “Barricades.” BARRICADES addresses the global environmental crisis and the construction sector’s heavy impact on energy use, emissions, and waste. It promotes ecological resilience through reuse and reinterpretation of existing materials, rejecting the consumption of new resources. The “barricade” becomes a manifesto of collective intelligence and sustainability, built from what is locally available. Once a symbol of defense, it is reimagined as a device for temporary, responsible construction. Each group will create a 1:1 scale barricade on-site, using only materials found in the surrounding context.
