Day 126: Circulation of the recent past in details. One for the ages. ⚫️⚫️⚫️ For the @lettonne.dance  debut at Paris Fashion Week, @nahkihg and @anitamurnieks  wanted to do more than just document. After initial discussions it was clear we needed something more than another traditional look book in Paris. We needed to create something all encompassing that captured the culture that had been crystallized. A book that could begin to help articulate the layered, and multi-faceted world of Lettonne. T-minus 72 hours, @dolor_puritan@nahkihg  and I went to work organizing, layering, collaging, and at times corrupting images of the bags, rave photography, Center Booth stills, and campaign imagery into 48 pages of structured energy moving through time. Lettonne isn’t *just* fashion. It’s a portal, a means, and a catalyst. The raves, the streams, the bags don’t exist in isolation of each other and the book is a small echo of that ongoing work. None of it would exist without the ever-growing network of contributors who have made Lettonne what it is. Artists, DJs, Designers, Dancers. You feel their fingerprints on everything. There’s something special here—a real network vibrating with urgency, memory, and the future in mind. Grateful to play even a small role in what feels unbelievable. ⚫️⚫️⚫️ More Forthcoming 🔜

DAY 58: Identity:Focus. The result of a 3 week workshop focusing on multi-page document design, and the relationship between content and form. The annual workshop co-hosted with @ikhoor for the University of Utah’s Visiting Designer class begins with students selecting from a set of three conceptual methodologies to help guide them through collection of content—the anthology, the derive, and hypergraphy. As an act of solidarity with the students our participation is required. This year’s project acts as a beta test for a future series of books each collecting, deconstructing, and reassembling work from a defined period of time—in this case roughly 1 year. Through this form of “reflection” one begins to find and better understand underlying motivations, interests, and motifs across the “practice.” responding to, and manipulating them in real-time. Across various substrates and print passes the boundary between self-initiated, commissioned, and otherwise “commercial” work is dissolved and what is rendered on the page reflects an essense of expression beyond the initial client scope or set of deliverables. 1 week of design, 3 days to print. 256 pages, 4 Different Paper Stocks, and multiple passes through the laserjet. ⚫️⚫️⚫️ More Forthcoming🔜...

Day 94: Excerpts from Shadows by @johnclaytonlee . Launched at Post-Fake, and Ofr.paris Currently Available at: @ginzatsutayabooks_photofashion @boutique__romantique @ofrparis @hi_bridge_books @jkptstore North America Distribution: @mf9.store “Born from a five-year stay in Japan, ‘Shadows’ transcends conventional visual storytelling through a collection of color and monochrome photographs. Each image captures a moment when light and shadow transforms a moment into an eternal echo, while maintaining a delicate balance between reality and imagination. In these works, the boundary between what is seen and what is invisible becomes fragile, reflecting a traditional yet constantly evolving culture. It embodies the duality of the present intertwined with the ancient past. “Shadows” is not just a collection, it’s a visual symphony that challenges the boundaries of art. In this exhibition, shadows become vessels for untold stories, inviting us to explore the beauty hidden within the colors of existence. Production: 1729 Agency (Naohiro Tomura) Design by David Wise Printed and Bound in Japan by Fujiwara Printing Published by Immanence Press Extent: 108 pages Total. Day 49: At the end of last year I was lucky enough to be brought in on an incredible project for a group of incredible people—something that was almost too good to be real. What started with the expansion, and application of the @lettonne.dance beautiful identity by @csoren across various touchpoints ultimately culminated in a series of wheat-paste posters for the project’s first rave of 2025 at Market Hotel in Brooklyn, NY. If this wasn’t enough the graphics not only occupied NYC’s physical space, but they also infiltrated digital space through @avo0xid beautiful recreation of the iconic subway stop. Thanks to the incredible line-up DINA @dinakhashan (Berlin), MORENXXX @morenxx_x , Jayshree @j.ph0ne , ANITA 4OX @anitamurnieks , and the brilliant Ghikhan @nahkihg + Altar Boi @dolor_puritan for bringing me along. I can’t wait to see it flourish even more. Until next time. More Forthcoming 🔜.

Day 1: A look back at a few projects completed in 2024, most of which can’t fit or be defined by the blacked out square grid. ◼️◼️◼️@MF9.world kicked off their third-annual Ellipsis Lecture series with speakers @marklifeofthemind , @roxannegray.co , and @maximilianschachtner . I was lucky enough to be invited back to @zakjensen classroom to lead a workshop in collaboration with @ikhoor on experimental content collection, and publication design. 🖤💚🖤 The undeniable @limewire.zone only got together a few times, but when they did memories were made. Perhaps 2025 will be the year? ⚫️⚫️⚫️ All while Terminal.fail got a little but more real with two physical releases, and a live site where previews of upcoming releases can be listened to, and the label’s activity will primarily stem from. Releases are lined up, and design is in production. 🔴🔴🔴 Long time Collaborators @archival_studies put on an in-depth process oriented exhibition of their work while launching their first line of commercially available furniture beginning with their timeless stool. I was lucky enough to extend a hand with the exhibition design, and collateral. ⚫️🖤⚫️ Lastly three books went out into the world. Most recently, Shadows by @johnclaytonlee . It was somewhat unbelievable to see something that him and I have been slowly massaging together be made physical and scattered across the world so quickly with launches occurring in Paris and Japan. 📸 The photography in this book is without words. 📸 And as mentioned here before two comprehesive exhibition catalogues for @pendleton.adam published by @mumok_vienna with @confessionofanartaddict and @washukemperartmuseum with @mermalone1 . I have never learned so much on a book project before. Being apart of such a dedicated, and uncompromising team was truly unforgettable. 🔴⚫️🔵🟢 Until next time… More Forthcoming 🔜

Blackness, White, and Light @pendleton.adam Published on the occasion of the artist’s first extensive European solo exhibition, mounted at mumok - Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien @mumok_vienna in 2023. Curated by Marianne Dobner @confessionofanartaddict Edited by Nina Kruck Printed impeccably in Belgium by @diekeureprinting Intensely thorough, and precise color separations, and process by Echelon Color @each_alone This project has been a massive honor, and learning experience. It is not often you find yourself surrounded by and working alongside those who are truly the best at what they do. This book wouldn’t have been possible without the help of @jasonscholtz and everyone else at Adam Pendleton’s studio not to mention @bosdex Jeff Khonsary and @jooseva along side the many talented press operators who patiently worked through the many long nights necessary in making sure every detail was captured just right. In an attempt to dive deeper, we present yet another post—this time beginning with the Special Edition, hand-embellished by Adam Pendleton, using the same techniques employed to create the paintings and drawings showcased within the catalogue. Additionally, we feature several spreads and photographs of Marianne Dobner’s beautiful essay on Adam’s expansive practice along with a variety of film, and plate pages. The book captures various bodies of work, treating each one uniquely without creating harsh divisions. Here, we see a set of film stills illustrating the films included within the show. Next to these, a series of plates are beautifully printed and surrounded by a sea of rich black, representing the painted walls on which they were hung. To achieve accurate representation of the works and do justice to the depth, range, and vibrancy within them, a combination of tritones and specially mixed offset inks was used. These colors range from deep blue, bright yellow, lush silver, and, as seen here, a vibrant green, and rich gold. All of this perfectly calibrated through the close collaboration of Jason Scholtz at Adam Pendleton’s studio, Tony Manzella of Echelon Color, and the amazing people, Die Keure Printing. ⚫️⚫️⚫️ More Forthcoming 🔜

🚨 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AND CONSUMPTION 🚨 Terminal.fail is a US-based label run by David Wise. Initiated as a platform for self-releases oscillating between harsh noise, industrial, minimal techno, and more. The label delivers a distinct range sonically and aesthetically through uncompromised motifs from varying references POINTS to reflect the sentiment of our time without losing sight on a future. Focusing largely on the intersection of analog and digital production Terminal.fail attempts to collapse expectation, and preconceived notions of process and output. ⚫⚫⚫ Terminal.fail is an outlet for the intersection and investigation of sound, image, and emotion while also acting as a platform for transformation and refinement. An outlet of critique, and of identity. ⚫⚫⚫ Terminal.fail begins with two immediately available physical releases: Descent and Malcontent, and Administration of Fear. Descent and Malcontent ungulates between melancholia, and dissonance creating an immersive journey through the depths of human emotion, encapsulated within the realm of power electronics. Each track on the album delves deeper into themes of rage, and absence, weaving a tapestry of raw, visceral experiences. The pulsating oscillations serve as an alarm, while stark whispers emerge as echoes reverberating from a near-distant future heeding warning. In continuation, Administration of Fear draws its chaotic energy from the philosophical insights of Paul Virilio, particularly his exploration of speed, technology, and fear as expressed in . With relentless distortion, overwhelming soundscapes, and unstructured sonic violence, the album sonifies Virilio’s ideas on how modern technology accelerates not only time but also the administration of fear and anxiety. Each track is a visceral confrontation with the anxieties of a hypermodern world, where control and collapse coexist. ⚫⚫⚫ Terminal.fail is alive and breathing at ://terminal.fail LINK IN BIO More Forthcoming 🔜

Day 226: Recently I was lucky enough to help execute a small, quick exhibition identity for the incredibly talented @archival_studies as part @3daysofdesign in Copenhagen at @kunstglstrand . The exhibition identity leans on materiality to center the message, anchored by the exhausted use of cardboard and kraft paper. This consistency allows for the scaling, and rigorous typographic system initial developed for @archival_studies Identity to sing. Along with a series of pamphlets, informative didactics, and A7 cards the project also included an exhibition specific exploration for packaging one of there soon to be iconic aluminum stools—also executed in a modest waxed cardboard with black and red printing to carry through the theme. 📦 were opened and 🍎 were served. Thank you @archival_studies looking forward to the next! ⚫️⚫️⚫️More Forthcoming 🔜⚫️⚫️⚫️
