As a student at @yaleschoolofart I took a memorable meeting with then architecture dean Robert A.M. Stern when @leilataylor and I designed an issue of Perspecta. He was magisterial, a bit intimidating. Have always loved these Vanity Fair portraits, here dressed as his famous Disney animation studio in LA.
Thank you, Justin Chearno. I cut my teeth designing hardcore records for Troubleman, and I remember putting together the Panthers LP in my brother’s apartment in Williamsburg. I think the main thing I contributed was repeating the band name around the edge. Turing Machine played our birthday one year, and Justin, Jerry, and Scott’s music was the soundtrack to my life at that time. #justinchearno
