DJ and producer Das Komplex lands on Catz ‚n Dogz’ STEP Recordings with the ‚No Toques Mi Guitarra’ EP - 3 downtempo and dubby cuts from the Koszalin native. Raw and dreamy in equal measure, the EP draws on disco and acid influences while capturing the spirit of the Polish new-wave Balearic sound beloved by left-field dance music aficionados. Opening with a hazy acid line, it drifts into an ethereal, sci-fi-tinged moment before closing on a shimmering disco guitar riff that embraces our ears like an ocean breeze.

Back in Feb, @jasejeffery invited me on @bent.hedonism 's @komrad94 radio show. We'd been chatting about the fun and uniqueness of Boorloo's summer courtyard parties for Jase, who's based in the UK. In the mix I channelled the vibes I love about these parties - fun and dancey without ever taking things too seriously. Das Komplex shares with us that passion for the balearic despite being Polish. An amazingly talented music producer and architect based in Koszalin but with a part of his imaginations in Ibiza. Hhis genre-blending approach between disco, house and experimental electronics, combining emotive melodies with raw, club-oriented rhythms but with this White Island flavours make Das Komplex one of our favourite producers.
