What a night! Look how happy I am to be in the kitchen with @benwnerdchef celebrating his newly refurbished restaurant @south_lodge in Sussex. It was a dream to be able to be literally at the pass with the chefs, watching them plate at @thepass_southlodge which has 1 Michelin star. I spent most the night up and down from my table just wanting to be in the kitchen in the thick of the action. To walk around the professional kitchen and see the chefs at work was such a memorable experience for me and I actually feel a bit emotional this morning just thinking about it. I met some incredible people - to be able to talk all things food with such passionate, interesting people always leaves me feeling renewed, excited & full of ideas. What an honour to be invited to this very special evening. The food was so beautiful and delicious. Just look at that duck dish, wow. The restaurant feels so cosy and intimate and the open kitchen is the best kind of theatre for me. Such a stunning refurbishment and menu. A special thanks also goes to the incredible Georgia, Maddi & Kaylie from @bloxhampr , @dannypecorelli who I could have talked to for hours, Dan the general manager, of course @benwnerdchef and @monzurawska and all the chefs. The whole team @south_lodge were so lovely and made me feel incredibly welcome. Feeling extremely grateful to have been a part of it.
