A Taste of 2025 ❤️ Thanks to you, last year we helped over 9000 kids get hands-on with food, from cooking in schools to Farm to Fork days, holiday sessions and lots of messy fun in the kitchen! We saw skills grow, confidence bloom and little chefs get inspired all because of your support. Here’s to more sleeves rolled up, new tastes tried and future chefs made in 2026! 👩‍🍳🍽️ #PreptFoundation

Oeuf! 🍳🥚⁠ ⁠ Our Founder Jess makes her on-camera debut with this one…⁠ ⁠ We visited @oeuf.cafe to reveal to founder Amber just how much they've raised since partnering with us on the £1 bill, where customers can choose to add an optional £1 to their bill, directly supporting our mission to make food education accessible to young people.⁠ ⁠ Since August 2025, Oeuf has raised £12,996, helping fund 778 children through Prept classroom sessions.⁠ ⁠ We’re so grateful to Amber and the whole Oeuf team for ⁠ such a meaningful contribution.⁠ ⁠ So… how do you take your Oafs? 🍳

Plumpton Open Day 🌻 A look back at the @plumptoncollege Open Day, which the team attended this past Saturday. It was all hands on deck, at Chef Ellie’s sessions running all day, where she got the kids cooking from the start 🌈 On the Menu? Rainbow Gut Busting Salads, with produce courtesy of @tmp_brighton and Shrub London. Chef Ellie even picked wild garlic on site at Plumpton and added it straight into the salads 🌿 With some Shrub London citrus tasting to start off,all grown in Valencia.🍊 We also had a very beany competition on, of guess the beans with three age appropriate prizes at the end. (360 for anyone wondering 👀) And @adamhenson_ popped by just before we kicked off. Such a lovely day all round. Huge thank you to Plumpton College and everyone who came by, got involved and cooked with us 💚 Already excited for next year.

Chef Alumni Day at Daffodil Mulligan’s 🔥⁠ ⁠ Yesterday we spent the day at @daffodilmulligan , known for incredible seafood, meats and fire cooking, to bring together and thank the chefs who’ve supported us at events or donated prizes.⁠ ⁠ We tucked into a seriously good surf + turf feast:⁠ ⁠ Snacks from the fire⁠ Bone marrow baked oysters⁠ Reubens x DM beef & stout smoked sausage⁠ Wild garlic whelks⁠ Veal sweetbread & smoked aubergine⁠ Spiced lamb offal⁠ ⁠ Sharing mains⁠ Wye Valley suckling pig, crispy head croquettes, smoked apple & mustard⁠ Chilli & garlic Queenie scallops⁠ Brown crab biryani⁠ Pickled daikon & cabbage salad⁠ ⁠ To finish⁠ Irish coffee soft serve with hazelnut crisp ☁️⁠ ⁠ Then downstairs to @gibneys.london for live Irish music, the unofficial Irish embassy of London.⁠ ⁠ A huge thank you to Daffodil Mulligan’s, the incredible staff and team for looking after and feeding us so well.⁠ ⁠ We love running this event alongside @designswoodcraftuk ⁠, and thank you to our sponsors @sevenrooms and Indigo Catering Equipment for making it happen, and to @lakedownbrewingco . for the beer! ⁠ ⁠ And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who attended, you’re what makes everything we do at Prept possible 💚

This month we went Behind the Pass with Ellie Ledden, Prept chef educator, and one of the most inspiring people working in food right now. Through her work at Prept Foundation, Ellie is using food to genuinely shift mental health outcomes for young people and demonstrating how kitchens can do the same for the chefs inside them. Come chop like a chef with Chef Ellie at Plumpton May Fair 👩‍🍳⁠ ⁠ We’re running hands-on cooking workshops for young people this Saturday (9th May), designed to get everyone stuck in and cooking with confidence.⁠ ⁠ Across the day, participants will practise knife skills, spiralising, grating, tossing, and building their own Rainbow Salad packed with colour, crunch, and flavour 🌈⁠ ⁠ Fun, immersive, and fully hands-on.⁠ ⁠ 🕒 10.30–11.30 | 12.00–1.00 | 1.30–2.30 | 3.00–4.00⁠ ⁠ Come down and get involved, we’d love to see you there 👋

Empowering our students through the art of food. 🥗 This week, Sackville partnered with @prept.foundation , a charity dedicated to enhancing student awareness of healthy eating. Their expert chefs delivered "Global Grub" workshops to our entire Year 9 cohort, teaching them the secrets of umami and high-level culinary techniques. We are incredibly grateful for the donated ingredients from the hospitality industry that made this "cost-free" experience possible. The future looks bright (and delicious) as we plan to expand these workshops to Years 7, 8, and 10 in the coming terms! 🎓👨‍🍳 #CommunityPartnerships #PreptFoundation #CulinaryEducation #SackvilleSchool #HealthyEating

This weekend was just the start. We’re building something special. Plans for 2027 are already taking shape. We’re growing the festival, but carefully, holding onto the quality and atmosphere that made this year everything it was. We’re adding an extra day, with a new focus on the people behind the industry. Monday will be dedicated to hospitality, bringing chefs from across the country together to share ideas and dig deeper into trends, evolving concepts, sustainability, kitchen culture, innovation, and the future of British food. For those staying the full weekend, you’ll be able to arrive on Friday and settle in properly, then leave as late as Tuesday. Super Early Bird Tickets are live now and they’ve been flying. A sunshine & laughter-filled day with St Matthew’s Primary SEND students at our Farm to Fork Day 🌿🐑⁠ ⁠ Hosted at @sanctuary_farm with our Prept Farmer Debbie, students cuddled baby lambs, prepared their milk, and got stuck into some seriously tasty cooking with Chef Ellie and our Programme Manager Camilla 🍳⁠ ⁠ On the Menu, were apple muffins & homemade berry ice cream, wild garlic flatbreads, fresh salads, banging in some beans with @boldbeanco , plus @plumptoncollege sausages and Shrub London produce 🙌⁠ ⁠ “This is like MasterChef, but for kids!” 👩‍🍳⁠ ⁠ Days like these are so important for students, to learn and truly appreciate where their food comes from by getting hands-on, from farm to fork.⁠ ⁠ A big thank you to the St Matthew's Primary team, and Debbie and Sean from Sanctuary Farm.⁠ ⁠ Want to get involved?
