One of our favourite things about “Full of Beans”? YOU lot are in it. When we got introduced to @rinku.dutt1 , it was clear she was bean obsessed. A starter at one of her supper club menus was this Classic Punjabi rajma reimagined into BEAN KEBABS! Queen red beans, a touch of feta, finished with a cooling raita + pomegranate seeds. When she told us about this dish, we were immediately like OH MY GOD. This HAS to be in the book!!! She’s such a champ that not only she agreed to share the recipe in our cookbook, but also went the extra mile. Rinku invited us into her kitchen to make these kebabs together. Dunno about you, but when we travel, we want to eat where the locals ACTUALLY eat. In Istanbul, that means Esnaf Lokantası - neighbourhood restaurants built for the tradesman, but really, ALL of Istanbul ends up there. Generous portions + food that tastes homemade? YES PLS. @ozlems_turkish_table knows this world inside out, and her chicken, vegetable + cannellini bean bake is exactly what you would find in one of those spots. One tray, juicy chicken, loads of veg + Queen Cannellini Beans soaking up every last drop of that marinade. You’ll need to track down a red pepper paste to make this yourself - but trust us, SO worth it. When the fridge is looking bare - QUEEN BEANS ARE ALWAYS THERE. This recipe is a true get-out-of-jail card. Looks + tastes AMAZING, takes minutes to prep and you probably always have all the ingredients on hand anyway. It’s one straight from @joe_woodhouse ’s new cookbook “Weeknight Vegetarian” but he has VERY KINDLY shared it on our website for you champs to try. 💛
