What is admiration?
To me, admiration is born where inspiration turns into movement.
It’s that inner shift someone or something awakens in you the spark that makes you want to become better, match an energy, rise to an emotion, move forward with more intention.
Admiration isn’t just looking up to someone —it’s recognizing the parts of yourself that come alive because of them.
That’s what
@teddysphotos has been for me.
A before and after.
First through his music, his career, his creative sensitivity. And then through who he is in real life: authentic, grounded, coherent.
Ed is the kind of human who shows you that people can be huge in the world and even bigger on the inside.
Meeting him and working with him marked me. It inspired me in a way that stayed as a reference, as a compass, as a reminder of what’s possible.
Ed embodies so much of what I aspire to be too: someone who creates from the heart, stays true to their essence, and impacts the world without losing humility.
Thank you, Ed, for being my favorite human.
For breaking the “don’t meet your heroes” myth.
For showing up every time I call inspiration in.
For reminding me that coherence vibrates louder than any achievement.
Even for showing up out of nowhere in NY while I was deciding to move there.
Keep rocking, dude.
Truly.
I hope I can be even half of what you’ve been for me in the lives of others.
P.S. Every time I watch a new documentary about you, I get inspired all over again.
With love,
Dani.
