Big thank you to @s.hingo for the inclusion!
Honored to have a piece included in Labyrinth/Laboratory: Selections from the Cranbrook Collection, which recently opened in the Cranbrook Art Museum Main Gallery.
Last year, 12 photographs from my ongoing series “Language of Function” were acquired into the museum’s permanent collection. It was a special way to close out my time at school, and means a lot to have the work preserved and cared for alongside so many incredible artists in the collection.
Thank you to the museum staff and curators who have shown continued support over the past three years: Laura, Andrew, Katy, Kat, and Bridget.
Labyrinth/Laboratory runs indefinitely.
Slides 3–4 show work included in the exhibition (Journey’s End).
Slides 5–15 show the remaining acquired works.
Full body of work on my website.
Excited to have been invited to participate in this year’s @mocadetroit Gala auction by donating this work in support of the museum.
