This is a cool way to get an Indian sound on a recording without having a sitar or a sarod, etc.
I had this professionally setup with flatwound strings. It feels and sounds great and is so much fun to play.

For your considerationā¦ 1976 - 1978 Ibanez Black Eagle 2609B BASS
The BLEACH bass! Besides being a nirvana bass this thing is just really cool! The BLACK EAGLE!
They recently reissued it, but this is a vintage bass from 1976-1979 (although serial number shows Dec 1975) and comes with the original hardshell case.
It has some normal cosmetic wear, but feels and plays great with no issues. It is currently setup with LaBella tapewounds, but also sounds fantastic with a set of Rotosounds. It is completely stock besides one changed pot and the jack has been changed (I will give you the originals as well). The electronics are similar to a Jazz bass.

For your considerationā¦. 1960s Baldwin Professional Deluxe Supersound D1 Amplifier
Willie famously used the 2x12 version of this but he had roadies. So this one might be even better.
This amp sounds so good and the Supersound circuit is very interesting - basically push buttons that enable preset EQs that you can use on their own or blended with the normal amp circuit. This amp has the BEST reverb and vibrato ā both can go VERY deep and full. There are no issues with this amp besides the normal cosmetic wear and tear.
This amp was serviced and re-capped by Austen Hooks a few years ago and has been lightly used in my smoke-free, professional home studio ever since.
