Ok so wow I got an email back in September from @bjp1854 to say that two (?!) of my portraits had been shortlisted for the Portrait of Britain #portraitofbritain
These photos, photographed for a @savechildrenuk project, feature Cara* (the youngest of four siblings) and Nathan* (the eldest of three) in places important to them.
I wanted to offer a glimpse into their everyday lives. We spent time together; played sports, explored parks, had bug hunts, watched YouTube, chatted about all the things they like doing.
Huge and forever thanks to them, and their families, for allowing me into their spaces and for sharing their time and stories.
The photos and their stories will be included in the Portrait of Britain Volume 7 book (?!) which celebrates the 200 shortlisted portraits of the past year, in collaboration with @bluecoatpress
