@dalmsoccer @jamescraig760 Coach Jazic announces the addition of goalkeeper James Craig for 2026-27 season. Craig, a talented goalkeeper from Wolfville, Nova Scotia, will join the team for the upcoming season while pursuing a Commerce degree. Craig brings strong experience to the Tigers. He has represented Team Nova Scotia for two consecutive years (2023–2025), highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the 2025 Canada Games in Newfoundland. He currently competes with Valley United’s senior men’s team and has also developed his game through the BMO Whitecaps Academy in 2023 and 2024. Off the field, Craig has demonstrated consistent academic excellence at Horton High School, earning Honours with Distinction in each year of his studies. “I chose Dalhousie because of the impressive Commerce program, and I believe it will be a great fit for me both academically and athletically,” says Craig. “I’m super excited to be joining the Tigers. I believe it’s a great program where I’ll be able to learn a lot and continue to improve as a player. I’m looking forward to this new challenge and can’t wait to get started in August.” Head Coach Alan Jazic is equally enthusiastic about Craig’s addition to the squad. “I’m excited to welcome James to the Tiger family. He is a great young keeper who has experience playing at the highest levels in youth soccer, including the Canada Games and the Halifax Wanderers developmental programs,” says Jazic. “I like James’ frame as a goalkeeper—he has great shot-stopping ability and is a strong, commanding presence in his area. James has great potential and all the qualities to be a top keeper in this league. More importantly, he truly wanted to be a Dalhousie Tiger, and I’m really looking forward to working with him over the next four to five years.”

@dalmsoccer zachchen09 The Dalhousie Tigers men’s soccer program is excited to add Halifax native Zach Chen, a high-achieving student-athlete who brings both academic excellence and on-field versatility to the team. A strong student-athlete, Chen is a National Champion with Suburban FC and currently plays in the Wanderers U18 program. He’s a versatile defender who can play right back, wing back, center back, and midfield. His adaptability and tactical awareness make him a valuable asset in a variety of game situations. “Zach is a tireless worker who takes pride in the defensive side of the game while maintaining excellent positional balance,” said Coach Jazic. “What stands out most is his ability to play in several positions at a high level. He’s a great teammate with a very high ceiling for growth, and I’m really excited to work with him over the next several years.” “I’m excited to join Dalhousie for both the academics and athletics,” said Chen. “I’m looking forward to developing as a player and helping the team defend its AUS title.”

@dal.mbb Balancing Books, Basketball, and Engineering on and off the Court. Engineering is a challenge. varsity basketball is demanding. Doing both at once means learning very quickly how to manage time, expectations, pressure and life. Just ask Jayden Parker, Osazemhinde Oseghale, Samuel Olugu, Isaiah Graham-Roache and Cedric Sanogo, five current and former Dalhousie varsity basketball players who are proving that the impossible is very possible. @dalmvb @attackvb #massi_2408 Coach Ota is excited to welcome Richmond Hill, ON native Massimiliano Riolina to the men's volleyball team. The 6'7 outside hitter most recently competed with Durham Attack Blast, where he helped lead his team to a gold medal at the 17U Grand Prix, a bronze medal at the 17U Provincial Championship, and a third-place finish at the 17U National Championship in Edmonton. This season, Riolina helped his team secure gold at Pittsburgh's Steel City 18 Open Championship Tournament. His Durham Attack squad is also currently undefeated in the OVA 18U season. Riolina has been involved with Team Ontario programs during the summer since 2022 and took part in the team's international training camp in Slovenia last summer. During the 2023–24 season, he was also the recipient of the OVA Medal of Excellence Award. Off the court, Riolina earned honour roll status in Grade 11 and received the Technology Award in Grade 10. He will begin his studies in management this fall. When asked about choosing Dalhousie, Riolina pointed to the overall environment as a key factor. He enjoys Halifax and, more importantly, sees it as a place where he can grow as both a person and a player over the next four to five years. He also values the level of support student-athletes receive to succeed on and off the court. Riolina shared his thoughts on joining the Black & Gold this fall: "I couldn't be more excited to be a part of Dalhousie and play for the Tigers," said Riolina. "It feels like a perfect fit to pursue my academic goals while continuing to develop and reach my volleyball aspirations."

NEW TIGER! Coach Lehman is thrilled that Thompson has committed to the Tigers for the 2026-27 season! "We are excited to add Adam to our cross country and endurance group. As the current New Brunswick high school provincial cross country champion, Adam has proven that he can perform in big races. He will provide consistency and depth to our group right away and we expect him to develop into an integral part of our program in the future. " Thompson delivered standout performances across multiple distances this season, highlighted by personal bests at nationals (Feb. 27–March 1), clocking 8:58.54 in the 3000m and 4:13.01 in the 1500m, and gold at the SSNB Cross Country Provincials, winning the 5K in an impressive time of 15:37.50. “The Tigers have a magic in their love for the work of running, and are great personalities. There’s nowhere I’d rather grow as a runner than in the company of these fantastic athletes and coaches. I can’t wait to get started,” says Thompson.
