How did we do?
We were tasked with shooting the launch photos and video for a new camo apparel line for @velocityoutdoor . The challenge, make it moody, show it in use in weather. You wouldn’t believe we shot this at high noon during a hot dry July day. We built rain, we brought in more lights than we had ever used for one shot before, wrapped everything in plastic and spent the day drenching the talent.

My last shoot out in the backcountry with the @flow_state_crew before injuring myself and ending my ski season.
I’ve wanted for a long time to create this shot, it was a personal hit list I created for myself almost 20 years ago. Everything lined up and @jeffkepler locked in the perfect grab for this shot. So stoked on the season we had and the snow we found during the worst recorded season in decades.
Can’t wait to get back out there next year and create some more of these images for the soul.

Spent the last two weeks with some truly amazing folks, salt of the earth type. The way they care for their horses, their community, and the folks coming to spectate the sport of skijoring was truly inspiring. If you haven’t had the chance to witness a horse running at 30-40 mph with a skier in tow while holding on for dear life then you’re missing out. It’s a high octane sport minus the petrol fumes and burnt rubber.

Love this shot I created for @smartwool with the help of @bryan_patrick_harris leaning back into his modeling days. The excitement of reeling in a fish is something that can’t be beat after a day listener ing to the peaceful babble of the river. Can’t wait to get back out on the river and create some moments like this in a few months.

15 years ago, I had graduated art school and was determined to make it as a snowboard photographer.
@_seth.hill was the first snowboarder I photographed back then. Fast forward to today and we had the opportunity to create together again.
