Recently, I've been thinking back to some bigger objectives of the past. In April of 2021, @patgep and I visited @grandtetonnps and rode the Ford Stetner route on the Grand Teton. I was so gripped during the climbing and rappelling, but I felt normal once I was on my board. I am so excited for future objectives in the mountains to get myself out of my comfort zone. Thanks for leading me up this line, Pat!

I woke up with @chloe1kanobe to see the lunar eclipse this morning, and it was spectacular. Unfortunately, some cloud cover made the image a little fuzzy. Deapite the early wake up, I am so thankful to have seen the last blood moon until 2025. This is the first time lapse I have captured in years, and I am impressed with the result. Oh how I have missed storm riding on the splitboard. There is something about moving through the mountains on foot with friends that is unlike anything else. It helps to me to slow my mind and be present with myself and my surroundings. On the up, I can watch my line and observe changing snow conditions to help me flow on the way down. Mayuary has delivered again, and I am so thankful for these moments in the mountains.

Here is a throwback to the deepest switch turns that I have experienced. I dropped into this run and decided to ride it switch. As the slope rolled over, the snow got deeper. I was impressed that I was able to ride it top the bottom. Hopefully, next season will deliver some deep snow like this.

This post is a behind the scenes of @daglarson previous photo. On this day, March 16, Plan A was a bust due to low snow conditions, so we opted for Plan B where the snow was much deeper. We had to prep a couple features in this zone, and we're able to snag a couple of shots. On my FS 180, I had to forego my grab, so I could over rotate and miss Dag on the landing. Overall, this was a great day out with @flow_state_crew , and one of my best pow days of the season.

My last shoot out in the backcountry with the @flow_state_crew before injuring myself and ending my ski season.
Iāve wanted for a long time to create this shot, it was a personal hit list I created for myself almost 20 years ago. Everything lined up and @jeffkepler locked in the perfect grab for this shot. So stoked on the season we had and the snow we found during the worst recorded season in decades.
Canāt wait to get back out there next year and create some more of these images for the soul.

This snowy forecast has me thinking about powder days last season. I hadn't hit Varla in at least eight years, and I rolled up to it with @zgriff . I figured a switch backside 180 would be a good option to hit this drop for the first time in a while since the snow was deep, and I would land regular. I missed the grab but stomped the landing and was stoked. This became the beginning to a great day.
