Sharing some new work for @scholastic and @newworldsreading ! We had a blast hanging with these kids and hearing their stories about how they’ve become more confident readers. We shot 6 spots in 3 days in Miami this summer. Earlier this summer we shot this fun little spot for Gogurt. I’m lucky I got to work with my favorite people and make some new friends along the way. Soccer coaching skills coming in handy. As a father who not only makes pancakes regularly for my children, but also whose relationship with the pancake is likely way beyond the recommended daily serving size, this was a perfect project for me. We had so much fun infusing moments from my family’s daily lives into this spot, and my favorite parts about it are the relationships and moments between these family members. This was a true collaboration with a super supportive creative team and the best production support I could ask for. I learned a ton on these last few jobs and as directors we rarely get to see how our peers approach their creative process, so I thought it might fun to share how we got here. I’ve started making “Scout-o-matics” on the last few shoots I’ve done and it’s been a game changer for me, the crew, and my collaboration with agency creatives. I’m excited to share some new work for the @harryanddavid holiday campaign. We built custom 3D printed miniatures, matched to a life-sized set, and used a combination of practical and post effects. Shooting on a Bolt motion control arm we were able to move around within this world and marry the camera move to our full scale world. Director's cut coming soon. Swipe through for the full spot.
