I just want all of my insanely cool, talented, brilliant friends under one roof making art together for one weekend - is that too much to ask?

Beautiful photos by @piratedkim ๐ท I love seeing the world through your eyes
The flowers seemed to bloom brighter in spring.
The summer breeze kept us cool, and the nights seemed to last longer. The leaves stayed on the trees well into November, and when they fell they crunched under our feet with satisfying end.
Everything was just a little better this time around.

Itโs beautiful outside, neighbors yards are overgrown with flowers and fruit trees, but we stay inside all weekend
Every night we eat decedent pasta, and watch something we can talk over.
Her floors are stacked with books and she will tell you about every single one of them if you ask, and sometimes even if you donโt. She will read them to you in bed at night, and you will find yourself convinced you need to buy them all.
The heat is broken this time, but thereโs an undeniable warmth here.
She could really use a cat, but otherwise, itโs perfect here.
I mustโve done something right with these 27 years to end up here, with you ๐
What an incredibly special birthday week. I love you endlessly ZoZo and JuJu โจ
Hereโs to 27.
First art residency was more than I couldโve ever hoped for. Endlessly grateful to the artists, craftsmen, and community members who shared their stories with us. Thank you @blueskycenter for hosting us and providing us with the support we needed. Looking forward to what comes next โ๏ธ
Taken straight from the journal of a declining twenty six year old, The Exam, Essays on 25 is a dark comedy about aging and the American healthcare system.
Itโs taken me a long time to work up the courage to share this one. I wrote this script a few weeks before my 26th birthday last summer, reflecting on the years ups and downs, our f*cked up healthcare system, and the number of god awful doctor visits Iโve been to over the past 3 years.
26 was always the big, looming, lose-your-health-insurance birthday. In many ways it always felt like the clock to โfigure it all outโ was set to 26. You had your fun, being scrappy, living outside of structure and order, but itโs time to get real and grow up. You canโt be an artist forever.
So hereโs a piece of art, or something resembling the sort, to celebrate another 26 years of being creative, making sh*t, and figuring it out as you go.
Thank you endlessly to the cast and crew. Everyone brought everything they had to make a lot with very very little. Indescribably grateful.
Itโs official! Porkchop (f.k.a. Delia) has been upgraded from temporary resident to permanent family. See, I donโt have commitment issues!
Thank you One Tail At A Time for providing such a positive and supportive experience! If youโve been thinking about fostering or even adopting, OTAT is the place to go.
After freelancing for four years, last September I made the long awaited transition to full time; not because I was done with freelancing, but because I found a company that shares the same goals as me, aligns with my values, and is made up of some of the best people Iโve ever met. Two months in, I was asked to edit a new reel to represent SOP as we head into the new year. Editing a video that not only captured the breadth of work these amazing people have been making, but that also aimed to transcend the traditional agency reel. It was an extremely fulfilling challenge and I'm so happy I finally get to share it out. Check us out. Share with friends. Spread the word. SomeOddPilot makes art.
