The cups, the wine, the wine in the cups, the snacks on the boards, the charming country bar, the gardens, the currants, the talking about The Knicks - it’s all here for you at C. Cassis. You likely already know that we are big on what Julia and Alex do over at Usonia, so we can’t wait for them to be here irl pouring new releases and answering all of your burning questions like “why is your wine SO GOOD?” Come along and experience with us.

An idea for a drink is a very fresh limeade with preserved lemon over ice and then you float it with NA aperitif and garnish with a cc salt lime. Just an idea. This can also be done with gin and the classic aperitif. It could be called Cassis-ade and both versions could be on the menu at CCTR now.

In the vast expanse of existence, is it possible that you haven’t spent enough time dating the most available, consistent, specifically interesting partner in your life - yourself? In this book, Morgan @the_coy_twins offers 51 short two minute “dates” to connect with eligible parts of your being. A very cool practice whether you are single, partnered, celibate, or simply curious. I got to illustrate it, which let me both experience the book and explore a lesser emphasized aspect of my creative practice which was a total joy! Come over to CCTR tomorrow to check out the book (along with a plant sale and tacos!) plus a short author talk at 3p.

Connecting agriculture to flavor and making the most of the fruit, Cassette Verbena stretches that earthy berry into a bright bubble. Perfect for afternoon picnics, snacks with friends, or reading a book while the sun sets on a spring evening and you can just hear the peepers start to go and it’s chilly but no longer cold. Times like that. Are good for this wine. Are good in general. 📸 @isabelbutlerphoto
