Starting this week, the Uptown Farmers Market returns for the season every Wednesday – rain or shine - from 2:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Sunnyside Mall (Sunnyside Ave. between N. Magnolia Ave and N. This Earth Day, we're highlighting how transit investment supports a more sustainable Chicago. The new Lawrence, Argyle, Berwyn and Bryn Mawr stations include features that improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact, including white roofs with added insulation, LED lighting and drainage systems that direct water into the embankment. This Women’s History Month, we proudly recognize our female partners who have made invaluable contributions to the RPM Phase One Project, including Victoria Anderson, an apprentice with Meade Electric through Local 9. At first, Victoria did not realize the trades could offer women a fulfilling career path.
