A global story, told through small moments.
My cover feature (!) with Jung Kook (!!) — whose career I’ve followed from his earliest days as the youngest member of BTS to this chapter as a solo artist — is now out via @rollingstonejapan , @rollingstonekorea , and @rollingstoneuk . (International friends, if you see this in the wild please do send me a pic!)
Grateful for the opportunity to observe closely and tell this story thoughtfully. ✨link to the full story in bio✨

Do you know @masonthames has been in three (!) no. 1 movies at the box office this year? The last actor to accomplish that was Jim Carrey in 1994…more than a decade before Mason was born.
So, who is this new Hollywood heartthrob?
For @teenvogue ’s New Hollywood Class of 2025, I sat down with the 18-year-old in a Manhattan coffee shop. Over iced lattes, we talked about acting dreams, being a lifelong film nerd, and the kind of career he wants to build with intention. ✨link in bio✨
I’m so grateful to the Teen Vogue team for trusting me with stories like this — thoughtful, curious, and rooted in real care for young people coming up in Hollywood. It’s such a gift to write for a publication that treats teens with respect and nuance. Huge congrats to @claire_ifying and @kaitmcnab for shepherding such a fantastic project. 💖

From the beginning, @xgofficial ’s ethos has been wolf-like – a pack mentality grounded in sisterhood, unity and intuition. For #NMETheCover, I profiled the x-traordinary galx of #XG – Jurin, Chisa, Harvey, Hinata, Juria, Maya, and Cocona – about their incredible rise, redefining what it means to be global pop stars, and the significance of being the only Japanese act on the bill for this year’s #Coachella. 🪐💫✨ Thank you, @nmemagazine and XGALX!

Girl who is going to be 괜찮아. In many ways, BTS changed my life. I met some of my closest friends because of them, built a career around the things I love, and found a sense of direction I didn’t know I was looking for. Being in Korea, all of it feels a little more tangible. And being here with the friends I’ve made (and are still making!) through a boy band I discovered 9 years ago was a dream come true. 💜💫
Journalist and editor @crystal_bell joins @russlessless from Seoul, South Korea to break down BTS’ big comeback. Last week, the K-pop boy band released their first studio album in six years, Arirang, following each member of the group completing South Korea’s mandatory military service. Crystal and Russ break down the album, BTS’ live performance comeback and their new Netflix documentary BTS: The Return. Then they tackle BLACKPINK’s recent EP, Deadline, and discuss how K-Pop has changed since both groups rose to prominence and helped to popularize K-Pop around the world.

2025: the year of nourishing relationships with friends old and new and nourishing myself. I did so many things I’m proud of this year. I can’t wait for 2026 ✨🎉
The most perfect holiday in the sun 🌊🌞 (not pictured: forcing everyone in the house to watch a 🏴☠️ episode of Heated Rivalry without English subs because we needed to fujo out.)
Reflecting on some of my favorite stories I wrote this year. This is one I really love — talking with @mikewillmadeit and the #EarDrummers about collaborating with @jennierubyjane on Ruby. Hearing how a team based in Atlanta worked with a Korean superstar to make something so personal and intentional felt like a snapshot of how music gets made now, across borders and through real collaboration. And it was my first piece for @thefader ! ❤️
At @vandanaiscool and @mit_e ’s wedding, love was everywhere. Even strung overhead in the words of writers who tried, in their own ways, to explain it. I’ve always loved how James Baldwin described love as the “work of mirroring and magnifying each other’s light.” That feeling carried through the entire magical week in Bangkok — surround by friends, family, new faces, and instant closeness. What a lovely community you two have built! I’m so honored to be a part of it ❤️
Had such a Dan-gerously good time hosting the DAN DA DAN panel at @animenyc !! It was seriously a career highlight ✨ Huge thanks to @abbytrott , @ajbecklesvo , @lisa_reimold , and producer Hiroshi Kamei for being game (literally) for everything. (@aleksle.vo we missed you; please share your Turbo Granny impression at your earliest convenience.) And big shout out to everyone who came through — y’all brought the energy! And, of course, this wouldn’t have been such a success without the amazing @anime_dandadan_en and @gkidsfilms team 💖 you KILLED it. And on a personal note — thank you to the one person who shouted “protect at all costs” when I waxed poetic about my son Chiquitita; I felt really seen in that moment. (And I’m working on my ten gallon wiener pose, don’t worry!!) #DANDADAN #animeNYC
Pop stardom on ADÉLA’s terms
ADÉLA’s opens up about villain narratives, sexuality, and why provocation is her power.
“I’ve always pushed people’s buttons and enjoyed doing so. It’s like, ‘Why are you uncomfortable with what I’m telling you right now?’”
ADÉLA has never shied away from provocation. From her breakout reality-TV arc on Netflix’s Pop Star Academy to her upcoming major-label debut, she’s turned discomfort into power.
“I thought everybody understood reality TV is reality TV, but people wanted to see me as the devil,” she says. Now, on The Provocateur, she flips the script: snarling, unapologetic club-pop that rejects everyone’s demand that she “apologize.”
Or, as she puts it: “How sexual can I get until I make you uncomfortable?”
