Hawaii, September 2025 Part 1:
This past September, @marriottbonvoy offered my mom and I a stay @sheratonwaikiki 🌺🐢🌊 It was our first time in Hawaii, and my mom’s first trip since being diagnosed with cancer over two years ago. It was magical, healing, breathtaking. What an incredible place that is a privilege to get to visit even just once in our lifetime 🥹

I’ve tried so hard to feel festive this year despite how the year is coming to a close — I decorated, baked gingerbread cookies for the first time, blasted christmas music — but I haven’t felt it. I waited for the magical feeling to wash over me yesterday morning, but it never did. I’m trying to normalize when this happens, as every season of life is different and that it’s okay. The holidays bring so much pressure to be festive, joyful, jolly, and that’s not an easy switch to turn on and off, so today I’m just thankful to have what I do still have, and am thinking of others that are also feeling a bit down this season ❤️🩹🎄I still plan to wrap up more 2025 trips & memories as we close out the year 🪩
This past July, @anameizing kindly passed along her reservation (as she wasn’t able to attend) to @diningwithflynn ’s intimate midsummer dinner pop-up at @isabellarossellini ’s @mamafarm on Long island ahead of @cove.ny ’s grand opening 🌱
It was a magical evening that included a summer rain at dusk, a visit from Isabella and her sheep, and of course an unforgettable multi-course fully vegetarian + pescatarian meal by none other than Chef Flynn himself 🍽️
This was also just 6 days after @jesusantoshka and I celebrated our 15 year dating anniversary (woah!) ❤️ What a special experience ❤️
