One of our favourite parts of Off Ply Episode 1 is when @zen_evans_skate talks about idolising the soggybones team when he was little… That was during a time when Zen and his bro’s weren’t riding for Soggybones. Even more so, it was back when they had just recently found skateboarding and they’d never seen skaters ride a big bowl. That was until @king_of_concrete happened in Busselton. It’s epic to have the bro’s now representing @soggybones pushing the envelope and being stand out humans who we are proud to have on the team. This episode shows that skateboarding isn’t just a culture we love - it’s a reflection of the people behind it. For the Evans Brothers, skating isn’t what defines them, it’s what connects them. Filmed between Mandurah and Perth, this 15-minute short is a visual ode to brotherhood, balance, family and the life that exists off the ply.
