Dogs of the Art Walk: Huckleberry Edition 🐾🎨 Meet Huckleberry, unofficial studio greeter, professional people-watcher and proud companion to artist Paul of @creativityinacan You can usually spot Huckleberry hanging around @base.camp.studios 2, visiting with the crew, checking in on guests and keeping one very serious eye on Dad. He is also, technically, a princess. A princess with a very big voice, strong feelings about arrivals and a deep personal commitment to being the studio doorbell. First impressions may not be Huckleberry’s strongest art form, but give him a minute and the charm shows up. He loves wearing outfits, absolutely knows how cute he is and brings his own very specific kind of sparkle to the studio. Fun fact: Huckleberry was one of the two dogs who inspired Dogs of the Art Walk, along with my Boxer, Winston. So yes, this little series has heart behind it, a little downtown studio chaos and a whole lot of dog-approved art energy. We have a feeling this will not be the last time Huckleberry appears in the feed. The one and only REPOSADO will be headlining SUNDAY SERVICE at the historic Kenyon Hall on April 19th! I don’t care who hears me say it: this is the best band in Seattle and their joyful, riotous, soul-affirming tequila funk is truly otherworldly. Rolling in as an 8-piece, this will be REPOSADO’s debut at possibly the most magical venue in our city. But there’s only 135 tickets total. This show is absolutely going to sell out so don’t sleep on it! All the profits of this gig are going to the West Seattle Food Bank. Aside from getting 2.25 million pounds of food to folks that need it, helping out 25,000 of our neighbors, getting 15,000 weekend meal packs to our kids, and serving a ton immigrant and vulnerable families, they also got out 100,000 articles of clothing and helped more than 700 families stay housed with rent & utility assistance.
