Don’t be intimidated by the course name — prior roasting experience is not mandatory as this course is meant for anyone looking to produce great roasted coffee. SCA Roasting Skills will give you a fundamental understanding of the roasting process, including the roast cycle, how to control sensory aspects of the coffee by roasting light or dark, identifying defects, the physical changes that beans undergo during the roasting process, as well as work space management and lean production. Swing back to last week's tremendous cupping event at #ghostbirdcoffee ! A huge credit to the first-class Ghostbird team for executing an extremely smooth routine, setting a gold standard cupping practices. It was a pleasure for the #beansology team to connect with so many new and old friends from the community. Together, we journeyed through a remarkable lineup of coffees, not just celebrated Geisha varieties, but also explored the distinct profiles of 74110, 74158, Pink Bourbon, and Chicho Gallo etc., all processed through particular method. A heartful thank you to all participants, including professional roasters, home roasters and coffee enthusiasts. Special thanks to Alto Cof for their amazing support. We eagerly look forward to seeing you again at our next event. Beansology promises to continue bringing more fantastic green coffee beans into the community!
