We’re just under a week out from Camp Out for Kids All-Star Annual Fundraiser, an inspiring night that brings supporters, partners, and friends together to celebrate campers, champion the mission and push impact forward.
Founded in 2008, Camp Out for Kids (COFK) was created to ensure every child has access to the life-changing experience of summer camp. By removing financial barriers, COFK continues to help kids build confidence, independence, and lasting skills that extend well beyond the summer.
Last year, nearly 1,900 campers experienced everything from outdoor adventure to science, arts, and sports, made possible by a community that believes access matters. This year, we’re ready to do even more.
If you’re in Chicago, we’d love to see you on April 30th. If you’re supporting afar, you can still be part of the impact.
All-Star Fundraiser tickets & the link to donate are in our bio!
Together, we can help even more kids experience the joy, growth, and belonging that summer camp makes possible.
This Earth Day, we’re proud to spotlight a meaningful renewable energy milestone.
At The Rive San Diego, we recently completed 1.5-megawatt solar installation across the building rooftop and parking deck, an investment that strengthens energy resiliency, reduces grid dependency, and helps residents lower their energy costs.
• The rooftop solar system produces enough energy to offset roughly 80% of the electrical usage for the building’s common areas.
• The parking deck installation is modeled to offset 92% of resident electrical usage.
• Through solar installation, residents will receive a 10% discount on their energy bill.
• Residents who park on the top level of the garage also benefit from covered parking provided by the solar canopy.
The energy production the system yields is equivalent to:
• Planting 14,009 trees
• Taking 84 trips around the Earth’s equator
• Driving 2.1 million miles on sunshine
This project reflects how our Energy & Efficiency platform guides decisions across our student housing and build‑to‑rent portfolios, linking environmental and social responsibility with long‑term performance.
Driving impact at scale isn’t always easy, but it’s a Core standard we’re proud to uphold.
How our spaces feel matters just as much as how they function.
Guided by a hospitality mindset, our communities blend form and function with intention, reflect a true sense of place, and are designed to help residents thrive. Each one has a distinct point of view.
We’re proud to share that three of our communities have been named finalists for the 2026 HD Awards, presented by Hospitality Design | HD Expo
Hub on Campus Tucson – Student Housing Finalist
Hub on Campus Knoxville – Student Housing Finalist
Oxenfree Princeton – Amenity Space Finalist
Led by our talented in-house design team, we’re grateful to collaborate with exceptional partners to bring these communities to life.
Student housing and multifamily design have evolved, and today the creativity and intentionality rival that of boutique hospitality. We’re proud to see these projects (and these sectors) recognized alongside leading hospitality brands.
Thank you to Hospitality Design | HD Expo for the recognition, and congrats to all the 2026 finalists.

Closing out Women’s History Month with a big thank you to the incredible women of Core.
Members of WINC, the Women’s Innovation Network of Core, came together to recognize mentors and colleagues who’ve made a lasting impact on their careers and growth. These women don’t just contribute to our success, they help shape a culture rooted in collaboration, connection, and opportunity.
With women making up 40% of leadership and 53% of promotions last year, we remain committed to building intentional pathways for growth and an environment where everyone can thrive.
Here’s to celebrating the women of Core, this month and every day.
