We’re hiring a mid-weight graphic designer to join our small studio team. If you’d rather talk substrates than logos, this one’s for you. It’s a hands-on in house role. You’d be doing packaging artwork, assisting with structural design, keeping our internal catalogues and website current, and working closely with the team on merch and packaging projects start to finish. This is not a branding role. We don’t do logos. It’s for someone who genuinely enjoys packaging: substrates, dielines, finishes, and seeing the work made. 3 or 4 days a week to start, with the option to grow into full-time. Flexible for side hustles or working parents. We’re working towards B Corp certification and care about how things are made and where they end up. Materials under pressure.⁠ ⁠ That's the brief Yield Strength sets for its 24 artists. It's also the question that sits underneath everything we produced.⁠ ⁠ We collaborated with @base_design on the official exhibition merchandise for the 19th Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art, showing across the Art Gallery of South Australia @agsa.adelaide , Samstag Museum of Art and Adelaide Botanic Garden as part of @adelaidefestival .⁠ ⁠ Ripped. Tattered. Designed to wear.⁠ ⁠ That's the language Base brought to the four-piece range, blending their vision with our production knowledge.⁠ ⁠ The cap arrives pre-distressed. Washed black cotton, raw frayed holes through the front panels, neon embroidery glowing through the breaks.⁠ ⁠ The silver tyvek tote crinkles permanently from the first fold. That texture is the finish. Lightweight, water resistant, with a printed webbing handle.⁠ ⁠ The heavy waxed cotton tote was the most involved. We developed the pattern from scratch, a multi-panel construction sewn together to give the bag its weight and shape. Then there's the print. We don't usually print on waxed cotton because the print doesn't hold, the wax fights the ink and the type breaks down at the creases. Base wanted exactly that. @videri_australia (formerly Group Homes Australia) unveiled their new identity last year, in-line with the rebrand we collaborated on a custom Travel Tote. This year Videri released their tote in all black. Making the tote perfect for everyday use and travel.⁠ ⁠ ‘Videri’ means to be seen, reflecting their belief in looking beyond a diagnosis to create small, authentic homes for people living with dementia.⁠ ⁠ The Travel Tote carries that spirit forward: crafted entirely from recycled nylon for durability, designed with a wide gusset for extra space, a padded laptop pocket, and internal storage. Finished with screen printed cotton webbing handles, a detachable shoulder strap, magnetic snap closure, and a luggage strap that slides neatly over a carry-on suitcase handle for smooth travel.⁠
