Preserving the history of a century-old city landmark and overcoming complex site and architectural challenges, the new Henry K. Oliver School project in Lawrence, MA delivers modern and inspirational learning environments for roughly 1,000 students in grades K-8.
By restoring the historic façade, enhancing structural support, and integrating advanced MEP systems, the design seamlessly blends old and new. Outdoor learning areas, flexible media centers, and a community-focused learning stair at the heart of the building create dynamic spaces that support diverse learning styles. The new building celebrates Lawrence’s rich history of industry and immigration while ushering in a new era of education that empowers future generations of students.

Al preserver la historia de un emblemático edificio urbano centenario y superar complejos desafíos del sitio y de diseño arquitectónico, el nuevo proyecto de la Escuela Henry K. Consigli’s self-perform team is installing a mass timber system that ties directly into the structural steel portion of the project, with the superstructure following a radiused, cantilevered geometry that makes every beam unique.

The Harold Alfond Center for Ocean Education and Innovation is more than just the newest addition to the @bigelow_laboratory campus in East Boothbay — it’s an expanded hub for research and collaboration that sets a new standard for bold scientific discovery.

In Boston’s Seaport District, Consigli successfully installed a 97-foot pedestrian walkway, connecting @vertexpharmaceuticals ’ Leiden Center I and II. Prefabricated off-site in just four weeks, the 160,000-pound bridge was installed in one carefully planned move.
To avoid disrupting ongoing research inside Leiden I, much of the work was done overnight, including temporarily removing 22 glass façade panels in harsh winter conditions. Work was coordinated closely with the @cityofboston and @thembta to manage road closures and transit detours.

At the Lincoln Memorial Undercroft — a previously untouched space currently being transformed into a new, interactive museum — our #GenuineBuilders installed a custom glass wall system, meticulously tested and designed to safeguard the monument’s historic character while supporting dynamic exhibits.

Designed to expand access to the arts and strengthen community connection, the Crewe Center for the Arts is the creative cornerstone of the @usouthernmaine ’s campus transformation. Serving as the purpose-built home for the Dr. Alfred and D. Suzi Osher School of Music, the facility brings music, theater and the visual arts together under one roof to set the stage for Maine’s future artists.
Complete with a 200-seat performance hall, practice rooms, piano lab and dedicated studios, the state-of-the-art building offers a place to explore, perform and connect through artistic expression. Wood acoustic baffles, wood ceilings and mass timber glulam beams — installed by Consigli’s self-perform team — are featured throughout the performance spaces and gallery.
