Last year, our Executive Director, Jose Vasquez, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Thanks to the incredible team at the Bronx VA, he was in surgery within a month and is cancer-free today.
Now, the admin is moving to cut 100+ jobs at the very facility that saved him.
We’ve already forced a 37% rollback of these cuts nationwide. We won’t stop until our care is protected.

Why do gerrymandered districts almost always trace the same neighborhoods that got redlined in the 1960s?
The structural lines from redlining to where the interstates were built to the Supreme Court's 6-3 ruling on Louisiana, it is all connected.
The 1965 Voting Rights Act was supposed to fix this.
The Court gutted it.

In the last four years, the Veterans of Foreign Wars unanimously passed two national resolutions supporting deportation prevention and repatriation for veterans:

▪️ Resolution 416 = Correction & Repatriation
