We are honoured to announce that Glacier’s Requiem will premiere at #SXSW 2026 ! Amid Iceland’s melting glaciers, modular synthesis artist Colloboh records the dying rhythms of ice and sea, uncovering a living language within nature itself - a requiem for the planet and for us. There are many things we learnt making this film, but one of them is certainly anything worthwhile takes time. After 2 years comprising many hours of development, production and post work, it is so rewarding to be able to share this special film with the international audience in Austin. What started as a conversation between @___saddiq___ and @colloboh has grown into such a remarkable experience and collaboration with a talented team spanning Europe. It’s unclear if discussing these sorts of issues or even raising awareness will result in meaningful change, but reflecting on our world, especially in times of consequential change, is an essential part of what makes us human. It is this very human response to overwhelming yet silent catastrophe that we wanted to capture. Thanks to each and every person who contributed to this film and made it possible. On Saturday May 30th in Golden Gate Park, we’ll welcome modular wizard Colloboh for a special live set for our next Earthling gathering in collaboration with our friends at @aylisf . Another dream artist for us to welcome to the park 🙏 Colloboh @colloboh (a portmanteau of Collins Oboh) is a Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist who creates progressive electronic music compositions through the guidance of intuition. A self-taught synthesist, Colloboh has toured and performed throughout North America, Europe and Asia with revered acts such as Suzanne Cianni, Beach House, Richie Hawtin, Kim Gordon and others. His music has also been featured on leading publications such as Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, and Clash Mag. Utilizing his modular synthesizer as a sonic canvas, Colloboh’s EPs Entity Relation (2021) and Saana Sahel (2023) showcase the breadth of his ambitious compositions and commitment to experimentation. A couple of days ago we released the trailer announcing our short film “Glacier’s Requiem” which will premiere at this years @sxsw Here is the official posters and some images that were taken during the shoot. This film is a devotion to the human spirit in relation to itself, one-another, and our planet. Its creation feels partially outside of my hands and by virtue of divine will. I am humbled to have been able to sheperd its actualization in collaboration with @___saddiq___ (director), @britishocean (cinematographer), @neilshuk (AC, 2nd Unit) as well as our producers @indialee___ , @tarquinramsay , and the others involved. The resilience and creativity embodied by everyone during the production of this short film is a prayer that I hope both resonates with the people that need to hear its message and reinforces the hearts of people on a similar path.
