Multi CCMA and JUNO Award-winning Canadian country group Tim & The Glory Boys return with their new single, “If I Go Missin’.” Built around the urge to slip away from the noise, the track captures the universal need to unplug, recharge and disappear somewhere simple for a while.
Known for turning concerts into full-room singalongs, the band has built a devoted following through their high-energy performances and signature blend of country and bluegrass. With over 57 million streams, 13 million video views, multiple Top 10 singles, multiple JUNO Award wins, and 10 CCMA Award nominations with 2 wins, Tim & The Glory Boys continue to resonate with audiences across Canada and beyond.
Born into creativity, shaped by tragedy and defined by perseverance. Toronto-based artist Beauty in the Riot recently released her debut EP, To Do. Beauty has always written from a place of deep emotion. With To Do, she shines a brighter light – focusing on love and intimacy. The EP introduces her softer “Beauty” side, while still carrying the honesty that defines her work.
“This EP is about love in all its stages – falling in, being in and remembering it,” she shares. “There are no heartbreak songs here. I hope the listeners can rediscover love in a world that often prefers to talk about the toxicity in relationships rather than the magic.”
Across eight tracks, Beauty explores different shades of intimacy and passion. The sultry title track “To Do” recently landed on Apple Music’s New in R&B playlist and Spotify Canada’s Fresh Finds. Other highlights include “Darling,” a jazzy, soul-drenched meditation on opening oneself back up to love, and “What If?,” a duet with fellow Canadian artist Its Traay that playfully navigates fame, trust and vulnerability. The EP closes with “If I Follow,” the most introspective song of the collection, showing that even in moments of heaviness, healing is possible through music.
While she is forging her own artistic lane, Beauty always carries the inspiration of her late father, Haydain Neale, the multi-JUNO Award-winning frontman of Jacksoul. His influence remains a quiet throughline in her music, as Beauty in the Riot builds her own legacy – writing, performing and even directing her own music videos.
Acclaimed Canadian songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Meredith Moon has announced her third studio album, From Here To The Sea, will be released on September 12 via New Motor Records/Compass Records. From Here To The Sea finds Moon taking a slight detour from the Appalachian old-time roots of the album’s predecessor, Constellations.
Produced by Colin Linden (Lucinda Williams, T-Bone Burnett, Bruce Cockburn) and featuring Rebecca Lovell (Larkin Poe), Lillie Mae Rische & Dominic Davis (Jack White), Julian Taylor, George Receli (Bob Dylan) and Jerry Douglas, among others, the album explores avenues of blues, folk and folk-rock while even incorporating elements of old-time jazz. Moon’s signature instrument – the banjo – still makes an appearance, along with the roots music that shaped her sound, but instead of being the anchor to the sonic palette, it creates a subtle backdrop as she allows her songwriting to take centre stage. @meredithmoonmusic
Fast-rising country singer-songwriter Jade Hilton is ready to make her mark with the release of her new single, Dive Bar, out now.
Inspired by Hilton’s first writing trip to East Nashville – and the unforgettable night watching Kacey Musgraves perform at an intimate venue – “Dive Bar” (produced by Douglas Romanow) captures the blend of authenticity, charm and warmth that define Hilton’s sound. The lyrics embrace humility, simplicity and a deep sense of groundedness – something Hilton knows firsthand as a tennis pro by day and a heartfelt performer by night.
Her own artistic clarity didn’t come easily. While working on music at home in Toronto, most of her collaborators leaned towards hip-hop and R&B, so Hilton started travelling to smaller towns and eventually Nashville to find her creative community. Landing showcases at the CCMA’s Country Music Week and the CMAOntario Awards weekend, as well as a spot on the famed Blue Jays Sessions, helped her refine her musical identity and reignite her confidence. Last year alone, she performed on over 100 stages across Canada and was named Songwriter of the Year at the Mississauga Music Awards.
As a Chinese-Canadian artist in country music, Hilton is proud to be part of a new wave of diverse voices helping to shape the future of the genre. Her story is rooted in the legacy of her grandparents who immigrated to Canada and opened the beloved west-end Toronto Chinese restaurant Mr. Pongs, which welcomed guests for five decades. In a serendipitous full-circle moment, Hilton recorded her first album at a studio – housed in the very same building where her family once ran the restaurant.
Stay tuned for more music throughout 2025 and beyond. @thebluejaysessions@thecmaontario@ccmaofficial
Riley Taylor has a Story To Tell. Plenty of stories actually. The 26-year-old “barrel-toned” country singer and songwriter from Burton, New Brunswick, is making an audacious statement with his 30-song introductory effort, Story To Tell, (Honky Tonk Record Co).
No, that wasn’t a typo: Riley Taylor’s debut album consists of 30 narratives whose subject matter cover all walks of life: the vagaries of romance and the expression of regret; the lonesome longing for a relationship that has passed its expiration date; the emotional turmoil of sorting yourself out; a couple of great storytelling songs and a relatable assortment of drinking songs that celebrate the end of another mundane work week.
Taylor has honed his performing and songwriting chops to get to this pivotal moment – on the verge of a major breakthrough in the country music scene. After hearing Story To Tell, you’ll understand why his moment is here.
Matt Andersen has announced the release of his 11th solo studio album, The Hammer & The Rose, out April 25 via Sonic Records. On the album, a veritable garden of heart, the New Brunswick-born musician opts for the kind of tender, moving folk and soul arrangements one might associate with flowers, trading in the hard steel edges of his heavy blues riffs for delicate compositions and honey-dripping sweetness.
After seeing one of the shows Andersen played on tour supporting his grand, ecstatic JUNO-nominated 2023 album The Big Bottle of Joy, producer and percussionist Joshua Van Tassel took him aside to express how much he loved the quieter moments of the set. Inspired by those times when the wildness settled down and he could hear, even clearer, the timbre and texture of Andersen’s voice, Van Tassel suggested cutting a record that maintained that low-key spirit. Andersen got to writing with that in mind, and it was the same chill vibe the team fostered for the sessions that would eventually go down in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, where Christine Bougie (lap steel), Aaron Comeau (keys), Kyle Cunjak (acoustic bass), and Afie Jurvanen (acoustic guitar) gathered with Andersen to lay the tracks down live off-the-floor with Van Tassel behind both the boards and the drums.
When Matt Andersen steps on stage, he brings a lifetime of music to every note he plays. Andersen’s stage presence is informed by decades of cutting his teeth in dusty clubs, dim-lit bars, and grand theatres all over the world, delivering moving performances that run the gamut from intimate to wall-shaking. In the studio, he’s always brought the same attention to detail and commitment to craft as he has to his live show, and the result - a multi-faceted and poignant body of work - has led him to amass over 33 million streams on Spotify and 30 million views on YouTube. In addition to headlining major festivals, clubs and theatres throughout North America, Europe, and Australia, he has shared the stage and toured with Marcus King, Beth Hart, Marty Stuart, Greg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Randy Bachman, Serena Ryder, Tab Benoit, and more.

Multi-platinum, JUNO-Award winning singer songwriter Delta Sweet has unveiled his country solo debut single, “Outta Money, Outta Mind,” accompanied by the official music video produced by CCMA Award winner @travisnesbitt .
Written by Delta Sweet (aka Patrick Kordyback) and produced by country star @itsdandavidson , “Outta Money, Outta Mind” is a catchy hook-driven toe-tapper, that evokes the lighthearted charm of ‘90s heartbreak classics, combined with the heavy-hitting production of modern country. Delta Sweet’s willingness to paint outside the lines and explore new themes, sounds, and collaborations sets him apart as a name to watch out for in country music.
Though best known for fronting the genre-blending band Stereos @wearestereos , Delta Sweet’s musical roots run deep in the sounds of classic country, a love he’s now fully embracing as a solo artist. After getting their big break on the MuchMusic series DisBAND, Stereos skyrocketed to success with a gold-selling album and multi-platinum singles like “Throw Ya Hands Up” and “Summer Girl.” The band earned two JUNO nominations, three SOCAN #1 Awards, and a loyal fanbase.
Delta Sweet’s official entry into the country music landscape should not come as a surprise to his devoted fans. As Stereos gained momentum, he often infused his country influences into their music. Take for instance Stereos’ songs like “Way Back Home,” Wild Hearts,” and “Glory Days,” to name a few – all have a distinct country influence. Earlier this year, he collaborated with DJ/producer Ashton Adams on “Pour A Little My Way,” which earned placement on several esteemed American country playlists.
Stay tuned for more new music from Delta Sweet coming in 2025.

22 Canadian vocalists of diverse genres, identities, ages, races and genders have been brought together by singer/songwriter/advocate Theo Tams to form The Rainbow Collective, a group that stands as a testament to strength, courage and pride. “This Little Light” is an anthem of hope that speaks to the struggles the 2SLGBTQIA+ community faces in an increasingly divided world. All proceeds from the song will support The 519 Community Centre’s Pay It No Mind Fund, which provides emergency financial aid to racialized Two-Spirit, trans and non-binary community members to cover essentials.
After facing months of homophobic messages and comments on his social media platforms, Tams wrote the song with Andrew (Marty) Martino and Liz Rodrigues. Tams recognized the privilege of having a support network he could turn to, but others around the globe aren’t so fortunate. It is a criminal offense to be gay in a third of countries in the world and 64 UN member states, and in six of these, being LGBTQ is punishable by the death penalty. In the U.S., Florida has passed a “don’t say gay” bill, making it illegal to talk about other sexual orientations in the school system. Alberta just passed legislation that directly puts trans/non-binary kids and teens in potentially unsafe environments.
