The weather looks incredible for enjoying an evening of food and drinks on the patio for a good cause. We are raising money to reach our goal for a matching grant from the @penntreatyssd . Many thanks to our artist @code_stool and scientist & local expert Sarah McAnulty @sarahmackattack for hosting the community input design sessions last month. 🎨Mural Workshop Brainstorming Party🎨 SATURDAY 3/7 from 12:00-2:00pm - this is the last session before mural design begins! Join @friends_of_fishtown_library , local artist @code_stool , and local scientist @sarahmackattack to help us design several new mural features to be installed at the library later this year! The theme will be Fishtown sights, native plants, and wildlife. All ages are invited to participate! Come anytime between 12:00-2:00pm to meet the artist, learn more about the project, enjoy some snacks, and provide your ideas and suggestions to help guide the designs! Donations towards the cost of the mural project will also be accepted 💸 This event takes place on the library’s 3rd floor, accessible by stairs or elevator.
