Philly style beer bar in the heart of Fishtown đ»đđč Birth place of the Fishtown Iced Tea
Sun 11am-9pm
Mon -Th 4pm-10pm
Fri 12pm-1am Sat 11am-1am
Opinion time. Saturday the Sixers play at 7:30 and Flyers at 8. We will show both games. We have 3 tv in the bar area and 4 in the dining room. We will also have one tv outside set up under the heated tent. We will have the $3 milller lite/high life playoff special. Here is the question and please comment. How many are coming out to watch flyers only? Sixers only? Or want to sit where you can see both? We will slit the TVs - question is how? Crowds have been bigger for the flyers. But game 7 is game 7. And it is against the Celtics. What say you????
On Sunday our good friend Niki passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He and his wife Patrice were frequent visitors to interstate. They lived just down the block. Niki grew up in fishtown and made it his life long home. As a fellow North Catholic Falcon, he voiced the story. A big Philly Sports fan - he especially loved the Phillies. While he was a craft beer fan - he also liked genny cream ale - which we loved to tease him about - because he would sometimes pour it over ice!! Yuk!!!
Thank you for your friendship Niki- you will be missed. We will always think of you when we are complaining about the Phillies!!!!!
Join us for the upcoming Fishtown Library mural fundraising happy hour! It will be this Friday, April 10th from 6-8 at @interstatedrafthouse . The weather looks incredible for enjoying an evening of food and drinks on the patio for a good cause. We are raising money to reach our goal for a matching grant from the @penntreatyssd . Many thanks to our artist @code_stool and scientist & local expert Sarah McAnulty @sarahmackattack for hosting the community input design sessions last month. We can't wait to get started on the project. We are so close to reaching our goal! #friendsoffishtownlibrary #penntreatyssd #fishtown #communityfundraiser

Edit from original post this morning
We donât usually take to social media to air grievances, but something happened that we feel needs to be addressed. We know mistakes happenâorders can be incorrect, food may not come out as intended, or service may fall short. We strive to do a good job, and we truly appreciate customers who reach out to us directly when their expectations arenât met. Many of you have done that, and weâre grateful for the chance to make things right.
There is a right way and a wrong way to handle frustration. On Saturday in the later afternoon, three gentlemen were seated together at the bar. There appeared to be some miscommunication regarding how their tab was being split. Whether that came down to a lapse in service or a lack of clarity, weâll own our part in it. However, as they were leaving, one guy directed a deeply offensive misogynistic slur at our bartenderâa 24-year-old womanâwithin earshot of other mostly female guests.
Shortly after, an online review was posted calling out the bartender. The review was not posted by the individual who used the slur, but rather another member of the group of guys. The individual who did use the slur, we know his identity, but we will not be sharing it. Our goal is not to encourage online harassment or retaliation. The hope is this serves as a reminder to him and future customers: no matter how dissatisfied you may be with service or food, there is never an excuse to use hateful, degrading language toward someone. We can accept criticism. We can learn from mistakes. We will wear the online review like a badge of honor. What we will not accept is disrespect to our staff. Not in front of our team, not in front of other guests, and certainly not in a space where families and children are present in our dining room.
To the individual responsible: you are no longer welcome at Interstate Drafthouse. If you would like to take accountability and offer a sincere apology to our bartender, reach out to us privately, we are open to that conversation.
