So this is a big, very cool project that I’m honored to be a part of and it opens tonight! Organized by the folks at @artistsoffthepage , Winter Wonderland is an immersive art gallery in the Lloyd Center mall, offering, as the group name suggests, a chance for artists to share work that’s not just prints or paintings (although there’s also a bunch of v sick prints and paintings too). We’ve got sick sculptures, blankets, stained glass, light boxes, video games, and more. All sales proceeds, from the gallery and the shop featuring merch from participating artists, go 100% to the artists. As for my part, I’ve got a lot of pokers in the fire! I have a programmable LED installation, a new video art piece, and a semi-interactive music installation. PLUS on top of all that I had the pleasure of doing overall sound and lighting design for the whole space, which was a great opportunity for me to stretch relevant skills into new applications! Really quite proud of how everything came together, and excited for people to start getting to see the space tonight and over the course of the next month!
