We’ll start the event off with food waste trivia, then a sustainability panel with our friends Steph, Andrea @muddysbakeshop , Derravia @blackseedsurbanfarms and Mike from Compost Fairy. There will also be live music from @dad_onarrival and giveaways to our PGF restaurants.

😋 🌎 ☀️ These SUPER SWEET 4th Graders have been learning about renewable energy and @clean_memphis came to help them create solar ovens out of pizza boxes!! They were able to test their ovens out by “baking” s’mores in the sunshine last week! Such a SUPER SWEET way to learn and to celebrate these warmer days!

When others criticize Memphis, they fail to note that we are making headway in food rescue, recycling and environmental education ♻️. Our team from Clean Memphis recently toured the BDC Business Hub. @clean_memphis x @bdcmemphis
The BDC Business Hub actively and intentionally prepares employees for a living wage career. They recycle mattresses, styrofoam, streetlights and tires while providing on the job training development.
Our partners from Get Green Recycle Works recycle all recyclable materials from our PGF restaurants @projectgreenfork and Republic recycles for residents in the city. We have the resources to get you started.
It’s time to dispel the myths and be mindful of what we consume and what we discard. My two scents are that we End free returns and stop using styrofoam.
