I had the amazing opportunity to craft my own mug and learn from Master pottery instructor Micah, who taught more ways to explore clay through design. It was so gratifying using my own (handmade) mug for a beverage at one of my favorite coffee shops in the University District.
Single use cups and plastics are ending up in our landfills at an alarming rate, so for this earth day I’m bringing my own mug, reusable utensils and bags! Being mindful about your consumption and waste is all it takes to make a difference in our food system.
