What an amazing performance from @odelkamara winning bronze at the World Championships. Odel dominated his first 3 opponents winning every round and scoring 2 first round knockdowns and a few standing counts along the way. He then boxed the unbeaten Kazak number 1 in the semi-final and was on the wrong end of a split decision which the vast majority in the arena thought he won. Odel becomes one of a short list of Brits in history to medal at the World Championships. An amazing achievement aged just 21 and he’s just getting started. Absolute superstar, so proud 🙌🏻❤️

So proud of @odelkamara once again. Had to settle for silver in Brazil after being withdrawn before his final with a hand injury sustained in his semi-final win. Odel beat the Uzbekistan number 1 who was a World Championships silver medalist and Asian Games champion and then beat the USA number 1 who placed 2nd in the US Olympic Trials. Odel won both fights unanimously, winning every round of both. More big statements made and valuable experience gained. Amazing, well done champ 🙌🏻❤️
