Schools and Junior Captain is Freddie Hannigan.
Youth and Senior Captain is Nathan Brooks.
Freddie hannigan is our new Schools and Junior Captain. He is a national semi-finalist and Manchester box cup winner. Freddie is one of the most hard-working lads in the gym and is sure to set an example for those in his sessions.
Nathan "Seagull" Brooks is our new Youth and Senior Captain, Seagull is a mutiple BUCS champion and a credit to the gym. He is also one of the most hardworking lads in the gym and one of the nicest also.
Two great lads to take on these roles in the new year well done.👏🖤

Ups and downs this weekend. 😬
First off in the schools quarters mikey Middleton won with a quality performance vs a top lad from Leigh, he now books himself into the schools finals for a 3rd year in a row.💫
Second on was JJ who fell short to a 3-2 split decision vs a lad from jimmy egans, everyone felt JJ had done more than enough to win clearly but not to be. He’s made such improvements in the last year and will no doubt be back in the finals. 🖤
To top it off we had Milly in the Manchester Box cup final vs a girl from Telford, after only being at us for 2 months and not boxing in 3.5 years she wasted no time in getting the 2nd round stoppage. What a way to debut becoming box cup champion, bright future ahead for her. 💫

SHASSEN DUTTON ~ 57kg NAC Champion.
Wow what a few weeks it has been, before this season Shassen’s last bout was in 2019 and now 7 years later she has won the NACs.
Since walking back into the gym in October and saying she was going to win the ABAs we all believed her from the start. She has gone above and beyond working harder than ever in the gym and really dedicating herself to the sport. A complete change in mindset to the girl who walked out on the sport all those years ago, from getting the running done, dieting, S&C, and sparring top girls, Shass ticked every box.
She has faced nothing but the best since coming back and has shown herself to be a level above. Shass goes on to her GB assessment and Tri nations in the summer an we have no doubt that she will be more than ready for them.
We want to thank everyone for coming up and showing their support, it was a great day and a great performance by Shass.
So once again massive well done @shassenduttonfitness , Champion in and out the ring.
