A very amateur attempt to keep friends riding bikes since 2019. A real medium job by @chrisdiminno

The Lost Art Of Cycling (Part 2) 🖤⚒️🖤 28’s were a luxury on “gravel,” which had yet to be defined as a category. Originally commissioned for Continental rider Ryan Thompson. Fabricated by Ira Ryan, who not only built bikes for the Continental squad but was a card-carrying member and rider as well. ✔️🪪✔️ Recently sold to Portland’s cycling chef Chris Diminno, who has been building and restoring some sweet rides since the pandemic. Mostly period correct, but 100% a functional work of art. Columbus Life tubing, Chris King everything, built with love in Portland, OR. 💕 Save the rim brake, support your community, and always show up with love, just like Ira. 🔥🎉🔥🎉 #myamericangravel #getweirdinthewoods #raphacontinental #savetherimbrake

“The Lost Art Of Cycling” (Part One) 🔥 Every bike has a story; this is a good one. Commissioned by DWP (@manualforspeed , @yonderjournal , etc), one of the creative forces behind the Rapha Continental in the early 2000’s, built by @pereiracycles (who also rode and built for the Continental project). ✨⚒️✨ It’s hard to put the impact that the project had on the bike industry into words. Long unsupported rides full of grit and inspiration, aiming to “redefine road cycling”. Some say it inspired modern gravel riding (and the comment section goes…). In reality, it was about camaraderie and documenting a shared experience of adventure from the saddle. 💕 Well, this bike was ridden by Daniel for years, then gifted to a young racer who took it overseas, clocking thousands of training miles on the frame. Eventually, as things do, it returned home to Portland and back into Tony’s hands. As Tony moved the @breadwinnercycles shop a few years back, downsizing was necessary. The bike was for sale, and @cheftuned answered the call. Restored to near-period-correct condition, a beautiful tribute to the Continental ethos. 👌🏽 Steel is real. Expect the unexpected. Ride bikes with your friends. Not a bad vibe at all. 🫶🏽 #getweirdinthewoods #myamericangravel #raphacontinental #savetherimbrake

(In the voice of David Attenborough) the…intense m1 is one of the oldest…downhill frames. It rarely seeks approval in modern times. Although beautiful….she is a scary beast….who will challenge anyone in their path.

Yes, we built those wheels. Yes, that’s an original mullet 26x24 double wide wheelset. Yes those are 3.0 gazzalodi tires. Yes the wheelset weighs around 26 pounds
