We’re pleased to share that Blue Bottle Coffee Nagoya Sakae Cafe has been shortlisted in the 2025 'Restaurant & Bar Design Awards' in the Cafe category.
Located on the corner of a new landmark building in central Nagoya, the cafe serves as a welcoming lounge for visitors, with hand-laid tiles and soft spatial divisions creating a calm, architectural atmosphere.
Furnished with pieces from the Karimoku Case collection, a collaboration with Norm Architects and Karimoku Furniture, the space reflects a focus on craftsmanship and hospitality.

南青山にあるベーカリーレストラン、panyaにて織部製陶のタイルを採用いただきました。
“ふぞろいな同じもの”といった空間コンセプトに合うような、一枚一枚手作業で加工したタイルを特注で制作いたしました。
At the bakery restaurant panya in Minami Aoyama, custom tiles by CERAMIC OLIVE have been featured.
To complement the space concept of “uniformly imperfect,” we specially crafted tiles that were individually hand-finished, giving each piece its own subtle expression.

Introducing: A Thoughtful Stay
For the 64th edition of Salone del Mobile Milano, Karimoku Case invites you to experience ‘A
Thoughtful Stay’, approaching design through the lens of hospitality. Conceived as an intimate hotel, the exhibition invites a slower encounter with space, where atmosphere emerges gradually and without insistence.
Moving through the installation, each room offers a shift in tone. Proportions adjust, light settles
differently, and materials come into focus. The experience is continuous, allowing moments of pause to arise naturally along the way.

‘A Sense of Serenity’: Karimoku Case at Salone del Mobile Milan 2025
Visitors are invited into a refined space that encapsulates Karimoku Case’s dedication to design.
Brought to life through the collaborative vision of Tokyo-based Keiji Ashizawa Design and Copenhagen-based Norm Architects, the exhibition space is carefully curated with a dark-toned colour palette, paying homage to mid-century design.
A custom-built fireplace-inspired feature adds to the ambiance, creating an atmosphere of warmth and tranquility – an inviting retreat that feels like a hidden sanctuary. A place where contrasting elements converge – serenity meets texture, light dances with shadow.
